We have been coming here for years and our family love it!! We invited our friends and they had an amazing time and even stayed an extra night!!

The staff was superb especially Keithra Brown at the front office was super helpful and professional. Great place for kids and adults. The pool is beautiful and the breakfast buffet was great and good price. I would stay here again

First this hotel isn’t very diverse, has a plantation feel with the staff being predominantly cultured and the guest not. However it was a great vacation, we made the best of it. Beautiful hotel & amenities. The vibe was very sterile, it felt like a care home with grandchildren visiting. Some island music at the pool would have been nice. Joan the waitress was great and also Chuck the bartender were both very welcoming.

Property was beautiful. The pools were clean and big. Very family friendly. Volleyball, basketball, mini golf, shuffle board, tennis/pickleball courts, private beach (it is a longer walk), small park for kids, hammocks, so many little sitting areas. The room was nice and clean. My only complaint was my tub had rust and chipping paint and my small kids couldn’t take a bath only a shower which was not fun lol. Staff seemed friendly. I’d go back.

We had an amazing experience at Lago Mar. We had a two night stay before we took a cruise out of Port Everglades (about 15 minutes away) and this was the perfect place to start our vacation early! Check-in was quick and easy, every single staff member we encountered during our stay was friendly and helpful, and we loved having the beach so accessible to us! Our kids especially LOVED the resort pool; they happily spent the majority of the day playing in the water. This is truly a beautiful resort with so much charm - very "classic Florida." We ate exclusively on the resort grounds and every restaurant had excellent food. We plan on visiting again when we come down again for another cruise. Highly recommend!

Right on the beach- great for beach lounging and walking; Comfortable, large one bedroom suite; Nice to have an “adults only” pool in addition to a large family pool; Great food on site with convenient Soda shop in addition to restaurant; Friendly, polite and efficient employees- special thanks to Fern & Sonya in the Soda Shop, Monique in Acquario Restaurant, and Wilson at the Concierge desk. Quiet family resort- ideal for young families, and/or seniors.
