So I stayed here for 3 days with my family, I don't have too much to say, but it was a decent stay. 1st the gentleman who is there when you first drive up is very. Check in was easy. The room was decent besides the shower curtain not really fit. The beds were so soft and nice. My biggest complaint was the parking I paid for parking, but I had to park my own car lol. The spots in that garage are soooooo tight. They really need to hire someone to park their cars.Luckily I'm a good driver because I might of scratched someone's car but not everyone can drive. Overall it would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel worked out well for our family. Close to all sites. Pool was a great way to keep kids entertained. Breakfast was worth it. Hotel is close to good restaurants and a whole foods. Staff was professional and respectful. Uber to white House is about $12

This has to be one of the best places we've stayed, ever! I was in town for an author signing at The University of The District of Columbia. This location is in the center of town and within walking distance of several restaurants and shopping venues. It also has a Johnny Rockets in the lobby with free breakfast for kids. Evrything was so clean and well taken care of. Parking was private and well-maintained. The only qualm I have is that the TV won't let you use any streaming devices, and the channels on offer are very limited.

Very near to Philippine Embassy. I like that it has a microwave on the room though the room a bit small fo a family.

We stayed there with our 2 kids ages 6&15. The staff was great as well as the restaurant in the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and polite. Anything we needed they were very helpful.

The room was very clean overall and housekeeping was great - very accommodating. The check in process was frustrating because my info was not recorded correctly. I had called 2 days in advance to make sure before we drove in from out of state that things were in order. Despite being assured we were set, the reservations had issues and I spent time sorting that out, taking time away from our family trip. I was also told I hadn't paid for breakfasts (it wasn't on my Expedia receipt either so I couldn't show proof)-- only to be awoken at 8:30 am on Sunday to the front desk telling me that I DID have two days worth of vouchers available. It just seemed to be one issue after another with the reservations.
That said, hotel is conveniently located. Parking markers could be a bit more obvious for out of towners who are unaccustomed to tight alleyways and negotiating tight parking, but we made it.
The hotel was under a fair number of renovations so the gym was in a meeting room with hardly any AC and there appeared to be a large leak in the lobby area.
The restaurant inside was OK. The menu is fairly limited if you prefer to eat on the healthier side. Mostly fried foods, though vegan options were available. Restaurant servers and staff in the evening were really curt, though the breakfast staff were pleasant and welcoming.
Mediocre experience overall - all things considered.

Only positive of staying at this Holiday Inn is it is within walking distance to the White House, museums, and restaurants. Otherwise, the overall experience was poor.
The 1st room they gave us on the 7th floor smelled like cigarettes and mildew. We immediately requested a change because we have 2 elementary age kids. 2nd room they gave was on the 6th floor and it was better because it didn't smell like smoke but still smelled mildewy and like a wet dog. I believe the room had mold issues because we had a hard time breathing and we were coughing. After the 2nd night, I couldn't handle it anymore and requested to change room again. They moved us to the 2nd floor and it was much better.
The only reason I don’t give a "1" rating is because Jonathan at the front desk was really helpful in changing rooms. Still we will bever go back there again. Minimum standard of cleanliness with respect to air quality was not met. I believe this Holiday Inn has serious mold issues, especially in the upper floors. We will no longer go with Holiday Inns for future stays.

A great place for a family vacation. Clean, comfortable. Housekeeping staff was helpful. The small kitchenette was great, we were able to bring our own breakfast so we didn't have to eat out everyday. Keurig for coffee. (BYO dish soap/sponge, paper towels, and k cups.). Not too far a walk to the 52 bus line that goes to the mall area.
