Built in the late 1800’s and pretty sure the mattress is original. Cutting our trip short, can’t sleep. First weekend in ages without kids, would’ve been better off at home.

This hotel was wonderful! So unique and clean. The staff was so friendly and the restaurant that is connected was delicious! And my kids throughly enjoyed the free popcorn. We will definitely be staying again!

We are a family of amateur ghost hunters. This place was absolutely amazing and we did catch evps in our room. The atmosphere is beautiful and it takes you back in time.

Excellent, beautiful and historic hotel in the heart of Leadville with loving, kind and caring staff that make you feel like family. Comfortable hotel, gorgeous mountain views and outstanding food and snacks. My 8 year old daughter loved the cotton candy machine in the lobby. I enjoyed chatting with staff and learning about Leadville. Super kind and helpful staff. I look forward to returning and staying again.

Really loud guests in nearby rooms made this the worst hotel stay my family has had in a while. There are no phones in the rooms to call the front desk and it wasn't clear that a late night visit to the front desk made any difference in solving the problem.

This was a wonderful, comfortable experience for all of our family, from ages 13 to 59!! The staff provided an awesome experience with history and tours of the property. the food was outstanding and abundant!! We look forward to our next stay.
