Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Georgetown Lake

Very clean and new feeling. AC was a little loud. Generator or something kicking in and off outside maybe next to brewery? Pool was good for kids. Breakfast was lacking. No protein or anything fresh

This is the second time I've stayed in this hotel and I have to say I really enjoyed my stay. We are a family on a budget, and I feel like I hit the jackpot. The hotel is clean, offers a complimentary breakfast, has a indoor pool/hot tub, and is located right in the middle of the city and the ski resorts. We had half of our group exploring Denver and half exploring the resorts so the location was perfect. There is a brewery right behind the hotel that's pretty good and has a delicious sour beer. The scenery around it is gorgeous. Looking forward to staying here again

Property is located along i70 a few miles east of the Eisenhower tunnel. It is very clean, and the rooms are quite large. Georgetown is a very small town and dining selection is limited though the restaurant/brewery next door is very nice. This hotel is a great value in the winter. I took my family there for a couple of days skiing in Loveland. Everybody liked it!!! The staff is very nice. A great place for a an affordable family stay for a ski trip.

Perfect location from Fraser. The hotel and rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The pancake maker was a hit for my family! The pool water was a bit cold but the kids enjoyed it. Georgetown is beautiful at night. There's a lake we walked over since it was frozen.

The property is situated along a frontage road. A storm came through and the street was not plowed— just an icy mess. The parking lots aren’t plowed either which is very dangerous, especially for kids or the elderly. The hotel looks newer and the lobby was clean. There was ONE person working the front desk to check in 4 people. The other employee asked to leave to run an errand. The room was clean and we had a nice view of the frozen lake. The soap was awful and the continental breakfast was meager. Several of the employees were eating the food while breakfast hours were still in full swing for guests. The reason I will never return is because jewelry was stolen from my room. Management was responsive but the dispatcher I talked to both times was extremely rude and hung up on me. I’ll be contacting corporate and filing a formal complaint.

Would not stay here again. Actually checked out after just one night. Went to breakfast and was greeted by a sign that said "Today's breakfast is brought to you by yesterday's tips." and this was attached to a tip jar. Guessing my mistake was to think breakfast was included as a component of my room rate as the listing of amenities says so. What self respecting hotel operator allows this. It is offensive to me and so was the mess. Ice from the ice machine had been spilled on the floor. The ice machine sits in the main hallway. Multiple staff members walked by and ignored the puddles of water. This was during the breakfast hours which guests and their children walked through this same area. The staff ignored the mess and more worrisome is they ignored the danger of this as the floor was slippery. AVOID room 130. This sits at the base of the staircase. This is a horrible room for the noise. Also surprised by the microwave where the cord goes through the back of the cabinet in which it sits but the microwave is not plugged in. You cannot reach the outlet as the cabinet blocks your reach. Same with the small frig. Neither is usable as a result. Explained my concerns to staff upon my early checkout but that was a total waste of time.

Location on the water next to the nature trail was just perfect. It was surprising clean and spacious. We saw bighorn sheep right as we got off the exit. The man that checked us out gave us great advise about local hiking with our children. It is one of the most beautiful towns we have stayed in, and the hotel is a phenomenal value. Highly recommend. 10/10!
