My family and I stayed here visiting family in town and I found our stay was very comfortable only thing I can complain about was being such a busy week their should have been more staff and The company or management should have prepared a little better staff wise and a few other accommodations such as towels and such. Overall I think the staff did great working as a team, they definitely have great customer service here!

My family of five spent the night at the Holiday Inn and we were seriously disappointed that a family of like 7 or 8 people were allowed to stay in one room next to us. They had about 5 or 6 children and they continued to slam their doors and yell and scream until nearly 1am. I finally got out of bed, and got dressed and went to the front desk to notify the staff (as we were on 1st floor). I could literally hear the screaming and slamming doors as I spoke to the front desk. They were uninterested and said they’d “let them know” and went back outside to smoke. Terrible experience with no sleep for my family!

Hello, I booked this hotel as it was close to the Sequoia National Forest and that was our trip for Saturday, July 15th. Well that first night when we were in bed the fire alarm went off! I got up and went to the lobby to see if we were in any danger. I was told that there was no fire and someone had set it off and everything was fine. Well after that it kept going on and off like every 10 minutes! It was super loud and the flashing light was very bright in our room. I went to the front desk and the girl said she didn’t know what was going on but it will stop. But it didn’t, we tried sleeping through it but me and my family had a hard time sleeping as it kept going on every 10-20 minutes. It was about midnight when I went out again and there was water everywhere coming down from the ceiling luckily not in our room and this time it was a manager at the front desk and there was police and firemen working on the system trying to shut it off. The manager told me I can get refunded for this stay and that is the reason for this review hoping I can get a refund or credit somehow. The alarm must finally stopped going off around 2am. We were planning to get up bright and walk to our trip but didn’t work out as planned. My family and myself did not enjoy the stat at this hotel. It definitely affected our day at the forest.

Maids were very rude. They barged into my room twice starting @ 8am when my newborn had just went to sleep. Room was dirty when I walked in , but was something I could clean.

We stayed here during a family trip to Sequoia NP. It’s in a good location for traveling with kids with lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance (IHOP right next door). The rooms were a good size and clean. Breakfast was good. It’s pretty urban and not like a retreat in and of itself but it was a good landing pad not too far from the National park.

Check-in and out was easy. Hotel staff professional. In remodeling stage but still was good. I visit Tulare once a month to visit family. I've stayed here along time ago, but have been staying at another favorite hotel since. I thought I would try again and maybe I found out why I changed hotel. My room location was next to freeway noise; not sure other room locations for noise level; towel rack fell off the wall, no body wash for shower so being unprepared, I used hair shampoo to shower with instead, other amenities & hair dryer were supplied. Breakfast was okay. Refrigerator was not plugged in when I checked-in so my cool beverages warmed up until the refrigerator cooled after I plugged it in; it took a while. I saw the door for room next to mine was not closed tightly so reported it to front desk and it was the same when I returned at night. Second night I found a small little bug when I pulled back the cover sheet. A guest had left a pool towel and drink in the elevator and it was there for hours. Room air conditioner was perfect! Bed was comfortable. Lobby downstairs was very pleasant. Did not use pool, but did in another stay and it was great! Had free WI-fi. Access to hotel from freeway is great. Under new hotel brand change so perhaps it will improve; I may try again at a much later time after change happens and ask for other room location. Perhaps this stay was a once in a while fluke, but I travel a lot and expect more than what I got.
