You should definitely check out this awesome little hotel! We were blown away by how friendly the staff was from start to finish. It's not a fancy resort, but it's super cozy and perfect for a laid-back stay. The location is so peaceful, with the sound of waves right outside your window and cute little frogs croaking nearby. Trust me, coming from a hectic metro area, this place is a breath of fresh air.
I'll definitely be telling all my friends and family about this gem. And you can bet I'll be booking a room here again next time we're in town.
Just a heads up, some of the buildings like Cambria and San Simeon don't have elevators due to the rules, but they made sure to accommodate us on the first floor since we needed it. And yeah, there's no A/C, just fans, but honestly, with the cool weather we had in June, it wasn't an issue at all. So keep that in mind when you're planning.

Took the family to Hearst Castle and stayed the night at The Morgan. The room was nice, cozy and clean. We stayed on the 2nd floor. Stairs only, No elevator. Continental breakfast was adequate - bagels, cereal, yogurt, waffles, etc. All self serve type items. There was a Mexican restaurant right next door we walked to. Hearst Castle was a 5 minute drive away. We would definitely stay again.

Horrible customer service. We requested to stay in the main building but our request was denied. They sent us to Room 403 which did not have a working heater and the kids could not handle to cold. The receptionist on the night of 11/24/2023 offered us a 20% discount for the inconvenience but Julien who helped us at checkout could not find anywhere on the system that discount. He did not help us connect with management and until today, even a simple phone call to apologize was not received. I have to mention that we sent an email with no response. We were referred to the hotel by a good friend but the experience was not what was expected

We stayed in a corner junior suite with a partial view of the ocean. Very spacious and comfortable. Pool was wonderful. Water temp 80 degrees, sheltered surround with open top. Nice lobby with soft instrumental music playing and tables to play cards etc. Very peaceful.

I stayed one night with my family on the way to SF, the hotel is hardly a 2 star, no air conditioning, old and outdated, do not liked at all, towels, pillows and beds are in bad shape, the room was clean but we just want to leave as soon as posible

Went on a trip with my family. Rented two rooms. The rooms were clean and the service was great. The bed was really comfortable. We had a problem with the heater in the other room so they brought my parents one. Overall we had a great stay. I loved that they had breakfast in the morning. They had bagels, cereal, muffins, coffee, and waffles. It was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent place to stay with family and pets. It is clean, staff is friendly, and it is an easy walk to the beach. I will keep coming to this hotel on my trips to San Simeon.
