The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa

Overall stay was pleasant. Our room was located in a very quiet section and the black out curtains made the nighttime wonderfully peaceful. The family pool, slides, arcades and bowling were super fun for our teenager. The hotel is located far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for shopping and reataurants as needed. The staff were wecloming and friendly. We met a couple of great families whom we are keeping in contact with as well! Our only issues were two: the bed wasn't as comfy as we'd hoped. (It sagged in the center and made my hips and back hurt) and there was a broken wine glass on the walkway/hallway to our room (not from us) which was left for over 3 days - even after us telling the housekeeping staff twice where it was. Other than that, we were very pleased with our stay and already making plans to return.

Room was warm and did not cool down on a hot summers day. We had to ask for a fan. We enjoyed the amenities of this resort especially for the kids.

We were so impressed by the Westin and its amenities and staff! Totally family friendly and lots to do! We will definitely be back.

Great resort for families

Friendly staff, clean rooms, many fun activities for kids to do. Our favorite spot to stay in the summers

Beautiful property. Unique in that there are multiple individual buildings for the hotel rooms. Main pool is large and super nice. Also has 2 great water slides for kids. Hotel also has a large adult pool with a separate bar area.

Thank you, Coleman, for creating this experience and providing us with detailed information and all the complimentary perks that regular people like us were not aware of. The smiles, good atmosphere, and great family spot made it all unforgettable.

A few disgusting streams run through the property. The water was muskie, and the filtration system was not working. If they cleaned that part of the property up, I would give them an excellent rating. The streams are a significant part of the grounds. The food in the Fireside bar was not up to par. However, it's a great place to take your kids—there are lots of activities for them.

The property had very limited dining especially between 2pm and 4pm. The rooms and property is very outdated and the bed was rock hard and very tuff to get a good night sleep. The pool bars close at 5:45pm and should stay open longer in the summer and the adult pool has a bunch of kids in it with no staff to tell them to leave so not much of an adult pool.

Loved all amenities! Very family oriented.
