Fine place to crush for a night. We were on a road trip with two small children and a dog.

This was our second time staying at Loge. It seems a bit run down comparing to 2 years ago. We loved it 2 years back. Very affordable then with more staff onsite. This year, on a busy Memorial weekend, they didn’t have any breakfast options anymore, except fir old pastries on display for 3 days - the website’s “menu” seems outdated. S’mores for kids are first come first serve at the community room, they don’t provide them in the room anymore - I’d happily pay for the kit. The floor and shower were kinda dirty and sheets and pillowcases stained. Not sure what’s happening to this place, but it seems like they don’t care much anymore. $250 per night seemed decent on a busy weekend, but wouldn’t pay more than that.
The booking and communication/service via text were great though. The kids do love the hammock and the place is pet- friendly. Just think of it more as a camping experience, rather than a motel with breakfast options and a bar.

Great location. It’s pet friendly place so probably not for very clean people. We had good time with kids.

Our kids loved making smores, whitch was included. It was also convenient to have a common area that included a kitchen where we were able to make dinner one night. Being a dog friendly place is also a must for us. So the Lode was a perfect place for us.

Hotel didn’t have hot water. I took 2 luke warm showers at best. Three other members in my family had same experience. Front desk staff had 2 different takes. One said “it’s been a problem in the past” the other said “we’ve never had that issue” and offered nothing in compensation or solution. A real bummer since we skied every day. Otherwise the place was nice.

My family stayed at Loge Mt. Shasta for two nights and we had a very nice stay. The office/cafe staff were helpful, it was close to shopping and sledding with the kids. There was some trash left in some drawers so I am not sure how well the room got cleaned. We had 4 of us and there is one small couch to sit on that would fit two people. There is an office chair that could be used too, but having another place for people to sit would be nice. I rated it 5 stars because it was a nice stay for a good price.

Just stayed for one night on our trip to Bend and were pleasantly surprised by the nicely decorated rooms. The kids loved the hammock across the room. We missed the snores at the fire pit but it looked very inviting. The coffee at the associated cafe was delicious. Will be back!

Clean, no frills, but comfortable and large room. Great space for dogs and families but very enjoyable as a couple

I liked a lot about this property: the location, the staff etc. The only thing I didn’t like is that our family room was small, jammed and dark, under the stairs.
I saw a different family room which was double the size, nice, spacious and bright. I wish we could’ve gotten a room like that. The kids didn’t want to stay in the room, the darkness of it was depressing and the lights were not enough to really lighten it up.
