Svendsgaard’s inn has extremely high cost performance. The rooms are warmly and beautifully decorated, very suitable for family trips. The rooms are fully equipped. The fireplace brings warmth and beautiful memories to the children. The front desk staff takes the initiative to help carry luggage. Next time I come to Carmel, I will still choose this place.

Very friendly staff, room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Fresh warm cookies in the lobby every afternoon were the highlight of my kids stay! Will definitely stay again.

The pictures on the website are far too flattering for this functional, if a little over-priced hotel in the centre of Carmel. The hotel was clean but the bed mattress was old and a little uncomfortable. Unfortunately we had a screaming baby and barking dog in the room next door - the noise being made worse by the thin connecting door between the rooms. The breakfast supplied in a cold bag was acceptable and of good quality but offered little choice.

The room was small but clean. The restroom door had moisture damage and did not close and the mold in the shower nob was unpleasant, but it didn't really bother me. This place did not strike me as a children friendly place, the atmosphere was very quiet. The staff was wonderful.
