We planned a family trip to Yosemite and couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay at the Evergreen Lodge! The cabins are nestled around the wooded grounds with plenty of privacy, the recreation room and various outdoor playgrounds were a big hit with the kids (young and old) and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend the Evergreen Lodge to any families heading to Yosemite.

Stayed in tent area as rest of family stayed up the street at Camp Mathus. Tents very close together, could hear all conversations and other body noises. Bathroom was heavily used and not clean. Floors of bathroom often flooded and stalls were out of toilet paper. Wi-Fi was not consistent throughout property. Cost for what you get was very high. I would not return, but other choices are far away. It may be worth the drive. Positives included pretty grounds and many activities. Food was good.

Nice place very well located inside the park. Consider 1-1.5 hours drive to be in the valley or other interesting places. The lodge is nice, we staye on a family tent, cleanliness in the bathrooms very poor.

The tents were basic but comfortable enough. They were missing some bedsheets on check in, which was sorted by the staff quickly. In the morning the staff cleared the tent before we had checked out, which was a little frustrating. Over $200 a night for a tent is pricy, even on the edge of Yosemite, but when you’re stuck with limited accommodation options that’s what they can charge. The place overall was great, some nice touches with coffee and smores included. The play areas for the kids was excellent.

Had a nice stay. Biggest disappointment was the pool which was heated but not enough for the kids to enjoy. I also felt the rec center folks could have been more helpful. One of the guys at the front desk was snarky. But otherwise, it’s a lovely property. Close to Hetch hetchy. Next time tho, we’ll stay at Rush Creek Lodge - which is a sister property, but with a nicer pool, more high end and on the main highway.

The food choices are not good for vegetarian diet option. A Person with vegetarian choice cannot stay for more than two days even if they want to. There is no microwave in cabin. Few of vegetarian items were inedible. With party of 8 people we struggled a lot with food options and were glad that we stayed only two nights. We will avoid stay to this lodge in future due to lack of food options and advise our family and friends against it.

Absolutely beautiful property. We loved how secluded we were. Loved the trails around the grounds. Restaurant was tasty and convenient. Will definitely recommend to friends & family!

I see it for mostly for kids. Well at least for kids to run around when their parents relax. I think I'll try another spot next time. Or maybe it's just a holiday weekend.

This was a lovely place. We checked in after dark so it was challenging finding our cabin and where to park. The next morning we were able to see everything which made all the difference getting around the next few days. The grounds are well-kept. The family cabin was roomy and clean. Took 1 star off for a non-working heater in one room that I reported to the staff but it did not get fixed. Luckily my boys love a freeze chamber and we brought extra blankets. Only one restaurant on the grounds but they served great food. Even their general store had tasty pre-packaged items. We bought a few souvenirs at their store. They have a great recreation center where you could book activities and rent equipment. They offered free s'mores every night. They were yummy. The recreation cabins had games and activities as well as fireplaces and comfy seating. We spent some time there after dinner our last night and I wish I’d done that earlier! I found an interesting book about the gold rush and Yosemite and they let me take it to my cabin to peruse further. I left it for them to return the next day. We would definitely come back here. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
