We booked a king bed room with a sleeper sofa! Also requested a crib for our 1 year old! Figured the sofa would work for the baby if they didn’t have a crib available! Walk in the room and there’s no sofa and no crib! Tried to call front desk and tell the lady about it and the room phone doesn’t work! Called on my cell and she said sorry! We’re booked. No other rooms available! Didn’t even have extra blankets to make a pallet for the baby to sleep. Not impressed. Glad we’re just here for the night.

We had multiple rooms for a visit to see family over the holidays. I’d stay here again, given the totally reasonable cost of the rooms and the convenient location. I’ll start with the good. First, the staff were all very friendly… they welcomed us, joked around, and tried to help if we needed anything. The rooms were very clean, and the mattresses were comfortable. Our room was exceptionally quiet, too. I remember reading a few concerning reviews about the area around the hotel, but we had no issues with the area. It was well lit and near many restaurants and major thoroughfares to get around Little Rock. There were a few issues that were out of anyone’s control. They are renovating the hotel so the water was periodically turned off, but the front desk clerk let us know when and it was always after we’d left for the day, so not inconvenient. The stairwell was a little messy due to the construction. Where I think there is room to improve: the shower curtain was too short so there was water on the floor after showering. My pillows were very flat. They looked normal until you put your head on them and then they flattened like pancakes. They also overbooked rooms with 2 queen beds, so we were unable to get the type room we’d reserved until the next day. We got a room, just not the right one. They did fix the situation the next day. So nothing terrible, and as I said, I’d stay there again for the great rate I got.

The hotel was really nice we did get in kind of late. But everything was really nice and clean and the lobby was very pretty. Check in & out was smooth and easy. The room was nice sheets where clean. Only problem I had with the room was the shower! I don’t want to take a shower and have my feet flooded like I’m standing in a kiddie pool :/

I will NEVER use your company again. I was in LR for my mother’s funeral and my room was canceled due to you needing the room due to tornados and families being displaced. No one called to tell me this, and I wasn’t made aware of this until I went to check-in. I spoke with a manager that wanted to put me in a roach motel, and I refused this arrangement.

We were treated *very* well by the staff, beginning with check in and extending to the breakfast person and housekeeping. We were there for a family function and didn't care about much more than a good, secure place to sleep. We told the front desk one morning that a repair was needed in the room and it was completed when we returned that evening. Breakfast is available, and the cook was cordial, but it costs extra. There are restaurants, such as IHOP, close by. It's evident the hotel was built several decades ago due to the decor. The building was clean and well maintained inside but shows some wear due to its age. This isn't exactly bad but, if you're looking for a new Drury Inn level facility, you might want to spend more. A little more attention to such basics as picking up trash around the doors would help. Street access was easy when coming from the east from the interstate highways but was an adventure when coming from the west until we saw we could turn left at the light just up the hill then immediately right to cut through a vacant bank parking lot. This isn't the fault of Marriott but bears mentioning. Overall, not perfect but quite acceptable if you're on a tight budget and simply want a good night's sleep.

The one thing I love about this hotel is the comfort of the bed. Other than that it is so so. They are short staffed therefore there is no dining, the bar is closed and they did not have enough staff to even make breakfast. The rooms are generally clean but could use more attention. There were several people working when we checked in but we noticed in the evening there was only one person working the desk and people checking in or trying to buy something from the store were standing in line for over 30 minutes. I would also recommend requesting a room on a higher floor or on the opposite side of the pool as that was extremely loud with kids swimming. I would stay here again but I hope the staffing issue is resolved by then.

This property is old and needs a renovation. Upon arrival the keypad to enter was broken. The rooms are dated as is the lobby where the furniture is ripped and peeking. Although the staff was friendly, the restaurant had very short hours. We stayed 5 nights and when asked to get service only received towels. The second to last night when we asked for additional fresh towels, the washing machines were broken and were given bath mats to dry off with. We also did not feel safe in the parking lot. To top it off, a toddler mermaid convention was going on blocking the hallways making it difficult to get to our room. Hard pass on this property as far as a return stay.

Repairs were underway. Plastic from the ceilings to floor in lobby. Staff was rude when I asked about it. Explanation was never offered. No cafe services were available, but again, I had to ask and got a distant nebulous comment. The answer seemed quite passive aggressive. My room smelled of stale beer. Bathroom floor sticky. I had two rooms(one for family). We checked in late in the evening or we would have simply left and forfeited the money. The next morning, as we were leaving, I encountered another high level staff member. Our eyes met so I said “good morning” in an affable tone. She stared at me and made no reply. There is a major business culture issue in this hotel. They seemed totally unfocused on hospitality. I stay in hotels about 60 days a year as I visit family. This is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had with respect to staff rudeness. And by the way, I’ve never given a bad review before today.
