Quality Inn Harrison

I’ve already reviewed our check-in process, but it was rough. Found out about a $35 pit fee that I frankly missed in the fine print. My fault. However, I feel like it was literally that fine print. It was not included in our price when we booked it and, it is the first time in this trip of several hotels that I’ve had to pay a pet fee. The hotel room was OK. Clean but air conditioner was off which makes me wonder what’s growing in there in between gas. Air conditioner worked fine, but smelled heavily an overly sweet air freshener that was frankly nauseating for the first couple hours . The beds had, I kid you not vinyl type bedspreads. I understand the practicality, but this was really over the top. This is a hotel that has obviously rundown, and frankly marginal for the price. I would not stay again. I have overall had very good luck looking through Hotels.com and I’ve had a good experience with the hotels we have found. This one is an exception for sure, but I believe based on the reviews, it should’ve been better.

We came to visit our new grandbaby . We always enjoy staying at the Quality Inn. It’s like home away from home . Staff is always friendly, and helpful. Wonderful breakfast every day. A great clean environment. I will keep coming back .

This stay was wonderful. The room was amazing, the pool was just what we needed after a long hot day biking. The only issue however was the fact that the only way to access the second floor where our room was located was through the fire stairway. This narrow stairway with two heavy fire doors became a challenge after 3 suitcases, 2 kids, and 2 trek mountain bikes as well. We love the stay, the breakfast was excellent and would love to stay on our next trip, we will however stay on the ground floor with the access to the doors on the outside as well. Other than that it was a great stay!!!

Location was perfect for our family plans. Bed was comfortable. Morning breakfast attendant was very nice and helpful. Had issues the first night with shower drain backing up and having hair cover the tub. After calling the desk, maintenance wasn’t available at 9pm so we had to move rooms. We moved our belongings to another room, that shower worked better but still backed up in the tub (without hair). It was addressed and fixed in the morning. FYI- first floor has outside entrance but second floor has stairwells. You have to carry your bags up to the room. No elevators. Our stairwell smelled so bad but the main hall and our room was good. I have mixed reviews about our stay. Improvements could be done to persuade me to stay their again.
