Enchantment Resort

We came to Enchantment for a quick getaway without the kids. We live 2 hours away from Sedona and have stayed at several hotels in the area. Enchantment has the best views . We initially booked the upgraded suite…little did we know it has a queen Murphy bed. It was the most awful night of Sleep ever! Luckily the next day we were able to switch rooms with a real king mattress….of course for an extra fee. The resort was quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed the pool (check your tan because we were double charged for everything) and walking the grounds. Don’t eat at Che Ah Chi. Insane disappointment! We ate there for lunch and split a steak sandwich. Overcooked and zero flavor. The cocktails were bad as well. You could hear kitchen staff cursing. We don’t have a problem with foul language…but come on..it’s super unprofessional. We canceled our dinner reservations there because we didn’t want another horrible meal. We ordered room service for dinner, the salmon and burger were both over cooked. Seems to be a usual thing for them. Be aware that both restaurants have the same kitchen and the menu is very similar. Cocktails at the casual restaurant were terrific! We sat outside in the patio near the fireplace and had a fantastic view. Overall it’s a great place but their food/chef/menu really need to pick it up about 5 notches!
