I was not told they would place a 250 hold on my credit card. That is a high amount. Also there were kids playing with the life preserver, and two men smoking by the pool and drinking with glass bottles. Someone filled up the towels and didn’t say anything.

when we went to our room, the first thing I noticed was that the bathtub was filthy. It doesn't look it;s been cleaned before we got there. There were dark marks on the bottom of the tub. The sink was very slow in draining the water. I don;t think we will use this hotel again. The staff when I checked out did not even asked me how our stay was, so I never mentioned my dissatisfaction. I guess when the hotel charges less compared to other hotels around the area, you can't expect it to be really that cleaned when it comes to the room. The window lock was not working as well. We really did not interact with the staff because the only person we saw was the front desk and he was friendly. I will not recommend this facility to my friends and family who might want to travel to Mesa and surrounding area.

Pros: Clean, friendly reception staff, prompt room service, convenient location close to shops, restaurants, HWY, breakfast was OK, limited but had hot sausage & boiled eggs for protein plus the usual continental stuff. Cons: Room was clean, except crusty stuff on the black bed skirt. I took a damp wash cloth & soap & scrubbed it off, sprayed w/hand sanitizer, gross! Come prepared w/ conditioner & lotion, they only have conditioning shampoo but for some hair types/mine you'll want conditioner! I always pack lotion! Breakfast could be better w/ scrambled eggs & muffins or some kind of pastry like other similar hotels offer. This was my fault 4 not checking but the beds are small! I usually get "Queen beds" otherwise the "Doubles" are full size and OK for 2 kids not 2 adults! Here’s the worst part: I was in the workout room when a staff showed up & she didn't say a word just started spraying cleaner. I was taking deep breaths since I was on the elliptical & then she started spraying & cleaning the other 2 machines (there were only 3 machines and I was in the middle). Out of courtesy she could’ve asked me how much time I had left & returned, OR she could’ve COMMUNICATED she needed to get done b4 her shift & apologized OR could’ve said she was about to clean so I can leave & return, instead she continued & turned on loudest vacuum & went over the cord it made elliptica turn off; seems 1st world problems but communication & common courtesy would’ve been fine instead came off rude

I booked this hotel to enjoy my grandson's baseball tournament. I called earllier in the week to confirm the amount they would charge and place holds on my credit card. The amount was for the room and a $400 hold. I work for UberEats and saved my delivery earnings to pay for this trip. Upon check in my card was declined. I tried again and the same, I was declined. Had I had another card to use I would have left and booked a room somewhere else. Not only was it embarrasing...I had grandkids with me. We had just driven from Santa Clarita with and 8 year old and a 2 year old. I called during the week to confirm the hold amount so that I could use my UberEats earnings, that I had saved for. Very upset.

My son and I had a lovely stay but the one drawback was that upon arrival we were shocked to discover we had to put down a $400 deposit for incidentals Now, I know that this can be a fairly standard process, however I have never seen one that high. So that was a very unpleasant surprise and the information was not provided on the website or on Expedia when we booked. Also, keep in mind if you pay the deposit on your debit card, it will be deducted and it can take up to 14 days to get it back so they recommend I use a credit card (not an option in my case as I am usingy card to pay off my kids orthodontist and I don't have $400 available on my credit card lol) So we came very close to being stranded far from home without a room to stay in. Would I stay there again, no way. Not because of the actual hotel, but simply because $400 for incidentals is way outside my budget and I did NOT appreciate that info not being provided when I booked.

We were treated poorly at check-in, at breakfast. Two fraudulent charges by this hotel caused us to cancel our credit card mid'trip. Their staff did not stop kids from kicking a ball against our door at 8 p.m. after calling the front desk twice. Sorry, we have nothing good to report.

We stayed here for the weekend for a basketball tournament. I wanted to find something affordable, close, had breakfast and pool for the kids. These are all true and were great. The staff at check in were awesome, as well as the night staff. We had an issue and they were there to help us. Everyone who worked there for the 3.5 days including the breakfast staff were extremely nice and accommodating. I will say the pool area was clean and tidy. Now the problems: the room was very dirty. Not just old, but dust bunnies weren’t vacuumed, bathroom was gross and I had to clean it, tops of tables and dressers had stuff on them that also needed my cleaning. There were many things not plugged in, like a working phone or 2 lights! The pillows were awful and the highway beside us kept us up for most of the night. The gym was also gross and no running water fountain. It’s very unfortunate as the people were great but the facility was not.

Traveling to see family & do our yearly road trip.

We, and a few others had problems with the keys being erased. 9 times for us in the 3 weeks we’ve been in and out due to family crises. Frustrating. But over all, s great place to stay, clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The room was immaculate and I sleep peacefully. The service was good and the breakfast was delicious. Throughout the whole hotel was clean and I would stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.
