Hyatt Place Anchorage Midtown

This hotel was a clean family-friendly stop before we headed out of town. They had a shuttle service, which worked well into the evening. Great spot to stay for a few nights if you are touring anchorage. The staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast in the morning was amazing and held us over for our 4 Hour drive to Homer. The curtains were heavy and blocked the Alaskan night sky. The room was big enough for for adults and two kids. We only spent one night after a long train ride before we headed south.

My kids and I really enjoyed our stay. We were all comfortable.

The beds were so comfortable. The kids loved the pool. We will be booking with them again.

I stayed on the third floor , late in the night the room above me sounded like kids running around .so next time going to ask for a fourth floor room.

The Hyatt was amazing! The check-in/out process was smooth and simple! The kids loveddd the pool and so did I! ☺️ The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of food to feed hockey and dance teams concurrently! The location is very nice as well. It is super easy to navigate and is close to a lot of things! I would recommend taking a walk across the street to the Bear Paw & Grill on a nice night! Great hotel! Friendly staff! We will 100% stay again!

Hyatt Place Anchorage is the PERFECT place to stay, especially for our family of four. The restaurant/bar on first floor had great food and drinks! Their hot breakfast was good with a variety of choices. The room was nice. I appreciated the couch area for laptop work. My son enjoyed swimming in the heated pool in 19 degree weather with snow outside. I learned at the end of the trip there is ability to do laundry on the 4th floor. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The shuttle was awesome! Although, I wasn’t aware I was supposed to schedule it-so we waited a bit when we landed, but the driver was great & it worked out. The shuttle is at the top of each hour & you have to schedule it, so knowing that made our departure smooth. All in all, a great experience! Recommend 10/10!!

The hotel is very clean and looks new. the staff is very kind and respectful. the only thing that could make my family stay better is a better breakfast. It is a continental American style breakfast but the eggs were terrible as well as the pancakes and waffles. definitively something that can be improved. but otherwise I will stay again in the hotel

I love the location. The rooms are great, very modern and comfortable. The staff is amazing, especially when I was checking in late Tawnia was very helpful in making sure all my needs were met. This has become my place to stay whenever I am visiting family and friends in Anchorage.
