We were only in St Andrews for one night, but the hotel was lovely. The staff was friendly, and the 2 rooms we had were perfect for a family of 5. Dinner in the bar was nice, and the breakfast options were fantastic. We will certainly be back on our next trip to Scotland!

Set in its own gardens and with a vegetable plot for the Restaurant together with being family owned, it is unique with St Andrews.

A lovely hotel sitting in beautiful grounds a few minutes drive from St Andrews. The gardens are an absolute joy. Staff are friendly and attentive. Our rooms (family annex) were bright and clean. Bathroom was modern and water pressure great!

Nearly everything was excellent to be honest, we stayed in the gatehouse room 1. Its like your own wee cottage, near the main road but the room must’ve been sound proofed because you never heard a single car all night. We were able to park right outside the gatehouse too which was helpful for unloading the car. The staff were lovely and very accomodating. The only issue we had was we had to pay a £10 supplement for a cot as our 8month old baby was with us, never had to pay this before at hotels we’ve stayed at. Maybe its standard practice at places, we just couldn’t work out what the £10 was for. We had our dog with us too as the hotel is dog friendly, also a £10 supplement (understandable beacuse of all the hairs left behind).
