The Garrison

The suites are all at the back of the hotel, in their own building, so don't expect a view. However they come with their own parking spot and are very quiet. Perfect for a young (or not so young) family. By far my favorite 'room' of the whole trip (6 hotels over all).

The Garrison is in a great location and the room was well laid out for my family of 5. Having a washer/dryer in the room was helpful and it was overall, very comfortable.

Family trip. 2 adults and 2 kids. Stayed in one of their apartments, 3 nights. Really liked this place and would stay here again. Plenty of space in the apartment. Kids had their own room. Right downtown center city. Great launching spot for all the hikes around.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. The apartments are actually on a road behind the hotel, not inside the hotel. The apartment was spacious and perfect for our group of four. Quiet and clean with good amenities. We had free parking in front of the apartments. Would recommend if you need room for a family.

Me and my partner turned up for our stay, we were greeted by a very helpful and friendly receptionist. We were then given the keys to our room, sadly the room we were given keys to hadn’t been done, we then headed back to the main reception 2 properties over. The receptionist did give us another room, this was a family room not the executive as booked but this was of no fault if hers as she really went out of her way for us. I would hesitate in booking again due to this. Wasn’t a relaxing start after a long day, as we checked in at 5ish

We had a fantastic stay at the Garrison apartment,Fort William. The view of the loch and the mountains is just superb. We were weather watching from the comfort of the sofa bed in the living room. Oh the view is ever changing and it's amazing. The apartment is very clean, looking fresh and the beds and beddings are so comfortable. We relied on public transport for our holiday and Fort william is a very good point to stay to explore Glencoe,Kinlochleven, Inverness, Glenfinnan, Mallaig, corpach, Fort Augustus by bus,train or by foot. The apartment is just the perfect place to rest after a long day of exploration. It's the best family holiday yet. Make sure you have waterproof,windproof outfit to truly enjoy magical highlands :)
