We stayed for one night after visiting Landmark. This hotel was ideal for our needs. It was only a short walk from the town centre and a decent selection of shops and restaurants. There wasn't much for the kids, 11 and 12 years, but there were a few board games in the bar area. The restaurant menus were limited, especially for the kids, but what we had was good if not exceptional. The kids portions were very small - we had to share our meals with them, and these are two small skinny kids! But they did get a very nice helping of ice cream included in the price. Restaurant service was a little slow - kids almost finished their meal by time we were served - but it was quite busy. The bar had a decent range of drinks but only one draught beer - Peroni. Wine was again pricey. However, breakfast was very comprehensive and tatsy which set us up for the rest of the day. The family room was spacious, clean and comfortable and had a large bathroom with separate shower. Nice towels and toileteries. Overall, good vlaue for a nice room, but I felt the restaurant and bar prices were high for what was served although quality was good. We'd definitely stay again but would probably consider eating outside if staying more than one night.

Super helpful in accommodating our big family, four adults and three teens. Great food, nice little bar well-stocked with whisky, helpful in setting up a last-minute distillery tour and getting around the area. Just great.
