Great experience checking in, although far too early secure luggage storage provided. Foyer had complimentary chilled water and fruit. Room was spacious with good range of toiletries. Absolutely loved the fact there was complimentary coffee pods and fridge with still and sparking water, chocolate and cans of Pepsi (kids loved it). In the corridor outside the room there was a chilled water /ice machine - again a great novelty for the kids. We didn’t do breakfast as so many options literally outside hotel door. We had a great experience- the final bonus was a 2pm check out. Great experience - thank you to all the helpful staff x

Amazing stay. Comfortable beds spotless room and kind staff. Breakfast was awesome with a great choice and the lovely Rosa went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. I'm always a bit dubious travelling alone with my kids but I just felt so super safe here and it's so handy for both the bus and train station. Thanks again

Our stay at the Leonardo Hotel offered convenience and comfort, especially appreciated for family travel. The highlight for us was the additional bed for our 6-year-old, who's outgrown sharing a bed with us. It made our nights much more comfortable.
The location is fantastic, with a bus terminal right below the hotel, providing easy transportation options, including a direct bus from the airport. It was incredibly convenient not having to navigate complex travel arrangements upon arrival and during our stay.
One important thing to note for future guests is the absence of a safe in the room. We found ourselves carrying our valuables with us whenever we went out, which was a bit of an inconvenience.
Overall, our experience was positive, with the benefits of location and family-friendly room setups slightly offset by the lack of in-room security for valuables.

I stayed here with my family and partner for my graduation. We were greeted by Rosa on reception, very chatty and polite. We booked 2 separate rooms and we were on different floors, so she checked if there was another on the same floor, which was very much appreciated. The free drinks tokens we were given for my celebration was a really lovely gesture too.
The hotel is an amazing location within the city centre within a shopping centre. The rooms and hotel itself was spotless. This was our first stay here and it won’t be the last. Any future Aberdeen trips this will be our hotel of choice.

Just back from a lovely stay at the Leonardo hotel with my daughters and we had a great time.
The man on the front desk was so kind and welcoming and we were able to check in early and we were allocated a room on the 5th floor.
The room was bright and Absolutely spotlessly clean. The room had everything you’d need, kettle hairdryer, iron and ironing board etc
The beds were comfortable and the room was warm but not too warm. LOVED the black out curtains and the ice machine on our floor was a nice addition. The kids had a bath and I had a shower and the water was warm and the water pressure was ok.
As a woman travelling alone with young kids I felt extremely safe.
I liked that the man at check in didn’t shout out the room number and I loved that you need a room key to access the lift and upper level rooms. It was so helpful that I could use room service to eat later in my room ( room service up until 9.30pm I believe) while the kids were asleep. The quinoa salad with goats cheese was a m a z I n g !!
I was also impressed with breakfast, food was well cooked and I like the addition of little touches like fresh smoothies and different breads.
Honestly I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again , all staff were so friendly had a lovely chat with a member of housekeeping too
Hope to stay again soon :)

Overall was a great stay, staff were lovely and room was nice and clean. The only thing I would say to the hotel (not a complaint btw) is maybe in future bookings not to put a family in rooms like “401” that’s where we were and we barely slept because you can hear the lifts going up and down all night and the door opening and banging because of people coming up and down stairs or from lift also all the shouting of people coming in. Our room would of been better for people like them coming in late or drunk because they probably would have been drinking and not bothered or not hear that once sleeping! Everything else was perfect got no complaints!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days when we were visiting Aberdeen to see friends and family after being away for a couple years. The location is unbeatable as you are right in Union Square where there is the cinema, shopping and plenty of dining options. You really can't fault the location. The staff were really friendly and helpful also.
There is no parking on site, which is disappointing and a bit of a struggle if you have lots of luggage. You can pay at the college street car park for 6 GBP/day or 18 GBP/day if you want to park at Union Square (no brainer on which one to choose). You can get to the college street car park through the rail station at the ground level, but my husband and I did find this a challenge when we had an early morning flight as we had to walk to the car park as the rail station entrance was closed, and then we had to park at the taxi entrance to get our luggage in the car. Not convenient at all.
The state of the room was pretty disappointing, to be honest. The bathroom was quite dusty and not very clean i.e) there was stains at the bottom of the shower curtain and the bottom of my pillow had slight mold on it! The lighting is pretty horrific as there is one light in the room so if someone is in the shower then you have very dim lighting to get ready in.
As we have now moved to Canada, we will only be back to Aberdeen once every year or two and we will not be staying at the Jurys Inn again and wouldn't recommend it.
