The property is a beautiful building with spacious grounds.The room was bigger than expected with comfy beds and clean hot shower with Elemis shower gel for your use.We were in room 2 which overlooked the fields at the rear which was beautiful and quiet.We had a delicious meal and great wines at the Fat Abbott restaurant on site.The spa and pool facilities were very relaxing and tranquil.Would recommend to friends and family & will return again some time.

Nice, clean hotel with very nice spa facilities. Hotel is about 6 miles from York city centre and near a shopping outlet with plenty of great deals. Children cannot use the pool facilities so bare this in mind if your staying as a family.
