My family had a very nice and comfortable stay at the Riverside. The staff are very nice and attentive. The setting of the hotel is one of the most picturesque with the river in the backdrop. Overall, we would recommend this fine establishment to anyone looking to for relaxing and quiet place to stay in your travels.

The property overall is nice, But it is not a family place where kids have much to do as the place have no pools or park or anything kid friendly. It’s a peaceful relaxing place to get away. The 2 negatives I do have is that there is no asphalt in the parking, so expect to carry everything by hand, and heavy luggage isn’t fun to carry as the wheels on the luggage simply won’t help due to the tiny and deep gravel. The second negative was no air condition in the room or in the hotel for that matter.

The hotel had only just opened and so was nicely decorated. Although the staff were still learning the systems and service was a little slow the friendly nature and approach made up for it. Dinner was lovely although the menu a little on the pricey side. Breakfast was good but due to the fact it was their first service a little chaotic. All in all a great hotel with a stunning view. Very comfy rooms! Only slight negative is if you have kids, the rubber at the bottom of the garden is unfenced and could pose a danger for kids playing on the lawn.
