The Spa Hotel

Beautiful decor, lovely restaurant, great staff.Gorgeous rooms. The only negative is the lack of relaxing spaces to truly relax post treatment as lounge is a thouroughfare and pool small and busy due to children.

This hotel is absolutely worn out. Rooms have had a moderate facelift but let’s be honest, it’s a tired old creaky hotel. It smells old and damp. The rooms have been repainted but old worn out furniture and leaky taps in the bathroom. The noise from upper floors and the corridors is absolutely unbelievable and unbearable like being under a herd of elephants. When we arrived the manager was in a conversation with a member of staff and looked through us like we were ghosts. The young lady on reception was helpful with check in. I wouldn’t come back here. Gym equipment is tired out, gym itself old and a bit smelly. Pool is very small and there are limitations on usage for children. All of the spa area is very dated and a whiff of sweat.

Another lovely stay .... we stayed for breakfast this time (no child in tow) and it was lovely ... I asked for eggs florentine (gluten free) and expected it to come out on toast rather than muffin which it did but the toast was cut into a muffin shape... how thoughtful ... thank you ... see you soo
