North Lakes Hotel And Spa

Lovely place. It has a seating area with a fire (good for winter nights). It has activities for kids and board games. I like that they are pretty sustainable and you have to get your own milk and put it in your fridge. The breakfast room/restaurant was beautiful. The coffee pancakes are a delight at breakfast. My only issue was that there was a piece missing from the coffee machine so I couldn’t have one and I was eager to try.

Fantastic Hotel and facilities, we spent a night here in Oct 23 and the children were looked after just as well as the adults. Excellent food in the restaurant and friendly staff.

Staff were lovely and attentive. The bedroom was clean. We booked a family room but found the bunk bed too small for our 10 year old. The bunk beds are suited for 8year olds and younger. The food in the restaurant was nice. The spa was clean and staff were nice.

We stayed for two nights as we attended a wedding, the hotel was ideal for families with the swimming pool. The rooms were clean and spacious so I'd definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel, doesn't look much from the outside, but fantastic inside. Great service, lovely little touches, should as kids robes, cookie's in the room and a milk mackine on each floor. Over 8's allowed to use jacuzzi, sauna a d steam room's, with adult supervision, whi h was great. Food in the restaurant was lovely, good decor and atmosphere and lovely outdoor seating area, with a firepit, which unfortunately wasnt lit during our visit. Highly recommended, we will be back.

First time I have ever left a review for anything, but had too. The place was amazing l, I think it undersells itself, staff were amazing with the kids and lots to keep kids entertained over the Easter. I have payed double what I payed for this stay in the Lake District and this hotel beats them all.

The Hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the train station so it was really easy to get to. As you enter the car park and see the building for the first time, you can be forgiven for thinking you have arrived at Butlins. However, on the inside it truly deserves its 4* status. We had a lovely welcome and an offer was made to take our luggage to our room as my husband was on crutches. Luckily the hotel has a lift. The room was perfect and very clean. Complimentary tea/ coffee including bottled water was provided. Towels and toiletries were provided in the room and towels were provided each time we visited the pool. The jacuzzi and steam room were amazing. The changing rooms provided shower gel, hair dryers, and a spinning machine to dry swimming costumes. On the day of check out, our luggage was looked after for us whilst we went out for the day. We will definitely be returning with our family and would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a family room, good size. Great pool. Lovely staff. Very clean. Only bad point was the room doors, very noisy and kept waking the baby.

Me and my family enjoyed the stay, thought it was little expensive and some of the rules for pool I felt was wrong. Kids wanted to swim at 9:00 am, but this was adults only, I feel this rule should not apply in school holidays. Over all ok and enjoyed it.
