I love the hotel and stayed regularly since opened. excellent room service and food hot. In the past always found bedding good quality but this time quite worn and bobbly and not made very well. always had a small mirror on desk and two chairs to sit to table to eat a meal (only one provided and also ironing board left out when we got into room. Have always stayed regularly and have been grateful that you always allocate room 361 and returning this time in changed circumstances ie with a prosthetic leg following having covid badly and losing a leg due to a clot I coped ok without having an accessible room the one shown to us had only a small double which would be too small. Overall though hotel isvery good and I constantly recommend it to friends and family and know that they also love it.

Great option for visiting family at the university and for access to city centre - was much more than I’d expected. Staff all friendly, great service.

I stayed here with my grandson while my daughter was at a hen party in the city. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was just what was needed as I couldn’t leave the hotel. The lovely receptionist helped me to my room with all the baby stuff. All in all an excellent stay.

Excellent stay. Can’t fault the comfort & cleanliness of all areas. Check in was great, thank you Kirsty At reception. Very high standard of service from everyone. It was our first hotel stay with our dog Monty and it was stress free! Good quality breakfast buffet too. Will definitely stay again when visiting family in the area.

We stayed as a couple for 3 nights, for work purposes near by and for visiting family in Nottingham. The hotel exudes calm, is spacious, full of light, and decoration that is easy on the eye. The breakfast and evening meals were very good and plentiful. The staff were all friendly and helpful without exception. We had an Executive room on the 4th floor, as that was all that was left when we booked. It was ideal for us. We enjoyed having windows we could open if required, which interacted with the heating/cooling climate controller to save energy and maintain environmental conditions. The room was spacious, quiet and clean, with pleasing decoration - a very large photograph of the tree canopy filled one wall. A great idea as we were up at this height anyway. We did wonder if rooms on lower floors had the equivalent tree height views on their walls. The hotel is situated in the pleasing campus grounds of Nottingham Uni, with walks through woodland areas and around a lake possible without feeling you were ever near a city. You can get a tram into the centre of Nottingham, but this does require walking a minimum of 15-20 minutes to a tram stop. Not a problem for us but might feel a bit of a trek for others, or if in bad weather. A taxi journey in is another alternative, taking only around 15 minutes. If visiting Nottingham again, we would happily stay here.

3 nights family stay, the gym is small but well equipped, the location is gorgeous and the housekeeping was outstanding. Breakfast is very good but could improve in terms of variety. The restaurant has a limited menu and is the same of the bar. The service was very slow in general. Wifi was fast and very stable. Excellent value in general for the money .

This was booked for my cousin who had got married and was visiting family as part of her honeymoon. The hotel went the extra mile, with towels in the shape of two swans, rose petals on the bed and some cake with Congratulations written on the plate. It made them feel very special. Thank you to the staff for organising that.
