I stuck in newcastle cause of train got cancelled and booked Grand hotel. I went through the review however my personal experice was not good. First room they allocated had dirty/used towels and dirt in room. Later room chnaged however the sexind room had other issue like bathroom latch did not close properly and drawers does had the latches to pull. So over all I did not find value for money and will avoid going specially when touring with family

Overall a very comfortable stay for a family wedding weekend at another venue. Adequate free parking. Reception and adjacent room was very modern and pleasant to have a drink/coffee or something to eat. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Corridors, lifts etc were a bit shabby. Very comfortable bed. Room and bathroom were pleasant but a little dated and could be improved. Overall good value for the price we paid and I would recommend.

Our room was more like a cupboard it was appalling you couldn’t move either side of bed Rail that was unstable to hang clothes on a glass table that wobbled so much afraid to put boiling kettle on absolute nightmare when we booked none of this was mentioned seriously horrid room shouldn’t be booked whik hotel is being refurbished it’s almost dangerous if u had small children

Was visiting family locally and used this as our base. Room was a goos size, comfy bed, decent shower pressure and water temp. Overall a bit tired but pleasant. Would recommend things like having a box of tissues in the room rather than bathroom. Noted no real upsell on check in, no details about bfast.

The price for the stay was very good indeed and offered great value for money. Good facilities bar/restaurant meaning flexible meal choices. We didn’t explore gym/pool. The room was clean and had everything we needed inc large tv, ironing board, safe. We found it reasonably quiet where our room was on 1st floor. The area outside the entrance and car park could be tidier eg cigarettes litter. Good location and local services opposite. All in all it worked very well for our stay to visit family and I would return again.

We stay here when visiting family. everything is good. The Price, Staff, Rooms, Pool, Parking, and Grounds. and also the other Guests are always nice. Thank you for another nice Stay.

Excellent location for visiting family in both Gosforth and Ponteland. Coffee at breakfast not very good. Don’t understand why it’s so difficult to provide good coffee in this day and age. Pool towels not good enough, too small and thin. If a £1 non refundable charge is to be made, then better towels should be provided. Room however was very comfortable and Smart TV above expectations. I would book this hotel again.
