Nice clean hotel, jacuzzi far too hot like boiling so you can’t get in it. Pool always full of kids and kids swim. Felt more like a leisure centre than a spa hotel no beds around pool, bed comfy, rooms annd corridors exceptionally clean. Lacks a few things in the room like iron, board, fridge, fan. Nice elemis toiletries, nice walk in shower. If you’re at the front of the hotel u look at the car park. Expected it to be much better, okay for a one night stay but couldn’t stay for longer!

Couldn’t fault a thing. The spa was clean, everything in working order and for a small spa there were all the expected facilities. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of freshly cooked food & fruit. A toaster that doesn’t burn or undercook your toast!! We stayed with a 15 month old and we were concerned about room for a cot, the standard bedrooms are far big enough for a family with a small child in a cot. The hotel even provide. In fact, in terms of catering for little ones, they’ve thought of everything. Plenty of changing facilities and even a family changing room. We can’t wait to book again!

Always chose to stay here on regular trips to visit family. Always very clean, rooms modern, comfortable and well equipped. Availability of pool and gym a bonus

Overall the hotel is lovely, the decor of the hotel is superb with spacious and plush rooms. Our experience was let down by a number of factors. We checked in at ten to 6 we were told that the spa was closing at 6pm and would not open again until 9am. This was one of the factors which swayed us in booking this hotel and it was not made clear to us on the booking that this would be the case. Secondly, we went to the restaurant juts after 7pm to be told that the kitchen had closed and they wouldn't even take any food bookings until 8pm. The staff did not give us any reasons for this and we were not even offered a complementary drink but we bought some drinks and waited. The cleanliness of the glasses was very poor and they looked like they had not been washed. On our second round of drinks the glasses were also grubby but the staff assured us they had been cleaned. Given the price of the drinks £6+ for a pint of lager shandy it was very poor (photos attached). At 8pm we tried to book food and were told that we would have to wait until 8.30pm to book food. We eventually booked a main course at 8.30pm and just as the food came out at 8.45pm we were told that if we wanted to book a desert then we needed to order at the bar right away. This was a disaster too and by the time I got back to my table my main was cold. At 10pm our deserts had not arrived and they told us the kitchen was closed and all we could have was a refund. Our night away from the kids was totally ruined

The staff, especially the restaurant staff, is amazing. The swimming pool is nice and great view of the golf course. The room is spacious and comfortable. The cot is super useful for family with babies. The housekeeping could have been a bit better - had to ask reception to send someone although the pls clean my room sign was out for the whole day.

Have stayed here quite a few times - every time I come up to visit my family in fact. Always clean, tidy. Comfortable large bed. Nice touches like good quality coffee and tea, free bottles of water, nice biscuits. Well maintained - overall a very pleasant place to stay
