We rented for a night in this hotel, and we were assigned in a low level room which we requested as we have a newborn baby. We were allowed to dropped off our bag prior to check in and were offered to leave the pram in their storage however we still kept it in our room. The service was excellent overall. The breakfast was good. However the bathroom stinks and the room requires renovation/redecoration.

Greeted by a lovely guy on reception. And got upgraded to an amazing family room which was brand new. Kids loved being upstairs on their own level. Was such a funky exciting room. Everything was immaculate! Breakfast was delicious and lovely staff in there too. Amazing location and brilliant getting a drink drink in The Sussex Arms over the road!

So the hotel isn’t somewhere I would necessarily pick for our family, however my flight back to Spain was cancelled and my husband picked this central location for us for a day. The room was small with little lighting, and a tiny shower in the little step up bathroom, but acceptable. What was very nice about this hotel, was the employees, they set me up with a taxi service to take me back to the airport, let me leave my bags there so we could walk around for a few hours before leaving. They also gave me a voucher for getting a drink around the corner at a bar. Also, the area was close to attractions, I wanted to keep this unplanned stay simple, so my kids and I walked through the nearby Hyde park to the Museum of Natural Science, both were spectacular. So thank you to the helpful staff!

We, family of 4 enjoyed our 3 nights in 1bedroom suite. Stuffs are all very friendly and loved perfect sunny side up breakfast. We will definitely come back for our next trip to London.

Very friendly greeting from Andreas, the Manager, who went out of his way to show us across the road in the pouring rain to the Sussex Inn (part of Stylotel), where our family room was located. The free drinks were appreciated after a heavy day getting there but, as we were attending one night only and had to leave before breakfast to find a decent spot on The Mall for the Coronation procession, we never got a chance to try the breakfast. In the morning leaving a heavy backpack to collect before boarding the Paddington train back home was a doddle and gave me an opportunity to be greeted by the night receptionist (again very friendly and helpful) and to receive back my things by another friendly, efficient member of staff. The ultramodern family room was divided by a cleverly designed central shower, sink & loo, enabling privacy between parents and children... something you don't always get in a family room hotel. Being from the West Country the 3 minute walk from Paddington was perfect, as was hopping on the tube for a direct Bakerloo line to Charing Cross. Altogether an enjoyable service and a hotel we would certainly consider for future hassle-free visits to London.

Our family with young child was brought to stay in another building above a pub with series of stairs to get through; shower curtain has stains; ran out of hot water; poor water pressure; soap was never refilled. Glad our stay is over. Room was ran down.

Great service, very narrow and poorly cleaned rooms. One of the rooms smelled musty. Good breakfast! Friendly personell. We had two rooms with three beds in each room, queensize plus one. We travelled as a family of six, two adults and four children. Need to check the rooms for mold and fungus

The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. They helped us arrange a private transfer when the trains were on strike and gave us extra towels. We were a family of 3 wanting 3 beds so that is why we chose this hotel. There were 2 regular beds and a fold out. All beds were uncomfortable and hard as a rock. When the smaller bed was folded out it blocked the door to the washroom so it could only open half way and you had to squeeze yourself in. The smaller bed also collapsed in the corner in the middle of the night. There was no ventilation in the very small bathroom - we were told it had been removed so the metal in the bathroom was corroded from the steam. There were no washcloths or hand towels - just 3 body towels. The bathroom and shower were about the same size as what is on a travel trailer (small!) The heating cooling system had been turned off as well and we used the 1 inch gap that the window opened as a cooling device. We were there in the spring so it was ok for warmth. For how much it cost we wouldn't book here again because of these reasons. However, the hotel is very close to Paddington station which helped us with our travel.

First impression of the hotel was great. We we're welcomed well and I can not fault our room it was perfect for me and my family. The first day and night was faultless. The breakfast was really lovely and plenty of options. Unfortunately that's where it ends. After we woke and had breakfast we went to our room to get showered and brush our teeth to find we have no water. It was like this throughout the whole hotel bar 1 toilet downstairs in reception. When approaching the staff on reception they had no answers which was fine. 1 hour later we went back downstairs to see if any news as we were still unable to brush teeth, shower or use the loo. With to children this wasn't very ideal. We asked to have a bottle of water to which we were told we'd have to pay for but if we want to brush teeth I'd have to use the one toilet whi his being used by all, as you could imagine it wasn't the cleanest and wasn't being cleaned either. I would not let my children brush their teeth in there! It was inhabitable. After voicing our opinions and complaining as we were not given the correct info or good customer service I turned to hotels.com to whom were great help. They said they'd refund us for the Saturday and Saturday night due to not being able to use the hotel. 10 minutes after conversation the manger called to inform us he was kicking me my husband and children (9&15) out of the hotel. So at 10:30pm we were on the streets and no where to stay. It was traumatic for our children and us.
