From the minute you walk into the hotel you can’t help but say “wow”. The property is like nothing I’ve ever stayed before. The property was restored beautifully. The room was spotless and quite spacious (family suite). The staff was pleasant and helpful. The location was away from the business of central London, but accessible via public transport.

Convenient location to stay for family wedding. Friendly staff and quirky hotel. Themed rooms were fun. We didn’t try the breakfast as we were after something more familiar and reasonably priced (we were offered a Turkish breakfast for £20/head)
My only negative were the curtains because of the time of year I was woken by the light at 5am so take an eye mask

Staff great, checkin very easy and breakfast amazing.
We did have some noise from the room above. A number of children (school trip) were staying which may have been the issue. They were incredibly well behaved at breakfast. Not a big issue!

Had a lovely stay in Limehouse hotel. The hotel is an old library. The building is full of charm and the hotel owner are kind, customer oriented and very professional.
We travelled with our 1-year baby and the hotel dis totally fit our needs (baby cot, baby chair when needed, space for trolley)
The hotel situation was absolutely fine : 2 minutes by walking distance to the DLR (in less than 10 minutes you are at Tower Hill - Circle Line)
We did not take breakfast so not able to rate :)
The only point I would highlight is that the curtains are not thick enough to avoid day light to come into the room. We were woken very early (4.30/5.00 including our baby!).
Thanks again to all of you (++ to Ali who managed to get our baby a warm lunch in the breakfast restaurant before we leave - we really appreciate 🙏🙏 )

My 2.5 year-old and I visited this relatively new, cosy and delightfully quirky hotel last night as part of a weekly respite allowance we currently receive from a noisy development near us in South London. I mention this as we are Londoners, so know the area we stayed in well and were excited to try this new venue. Some previous reviewers have mentioned the decor of knick-knacks and toys as somehow 'odd' or 'creepy' though myself and my daughter found them fascinating and delightful - she was even kindly allowed to ride on a wooden rocking horse in the reception, play with some of the plastic dolls adorning the tables and leave her own 'deposit' of two coloured blocks behind the receiption to be returned to her (along with a chocolate coin) on our departure. The hotel seemed very quiet in the communal areas and we didn't see any other guests for the entirety of our stay, though this suited us well as peace and quiet is exactly what we are looking for. I hope that this hotel decides to ramp up its liveliness in its bar, terrace and event spaces as I would happily visit as a londoner for lunch or an evening out, although it doesn't seem like much is currently happening in these spaces/it is unclear how much they are utilised. I also appreciated the team kindly upgrading our twin room to a larger one free of charge to fit the toddler cot, a kind consideration that made our stay more pleasurable. Based on this stay, I'd stay again.

Really wonderful concept and stunning theme. Staff are friendly and helpful. You can tell it's a newer hotel that's still finding its feet but I would happily stay here again or recommend to friends and family.

We stayed an a family room in the heritage/monumental section of the hotel. It was perfect for me and my sisters. The breakfast was exceptional! The staff at the hotel could not be nicer - super helpful. We spent some time in the Turkish bath during a particular rainy day and it was super relaxing. I really loved all the plants and decorative details at the hotel!

This is a one of a kind hotel where everyone from the hotel management to the cleaning staff wants to make it the best possible stay for you. Each of the 75 rooms are unique and themed to a famous person who contributed greatly to humanity.
The breakfast is to die for. The owner personally inspects the breakfast everyday and makes adjustments.
The decor of the lobby itself makes it a unique experience starting when you enter.
I had a great stay with my family and will recommend it to all.

Hotel is very quirky but lovely . A bit further out but only 5 minutes walk from DLR . Nice touches in the room and an excellent standard of cleanliness. Only downside was the layout of our twin room . One bed was in an alcove and would have been better suited to a child . Didn’t have chance to try the wellness centre .Overall a great find and a change from bland chain hotels.

Amazing experience!! Extremely polite and helpful staff, welcoming arrival glass of water that was much appreciated after a long journey.
The Hotel is a unique experience, which has a lovely homely feeling. Cleanliness was amazing, bathrooms provided a variety of complementary shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion. Complementary coffee, tea and water in the room. Mini bar with a good variety of soft drinks that are payable but good value. We stayed in a family room, 1 kind size bed and 1 single that was separated. Safe and hairdryer available in the room also. Breakfast was great, quick and hot.
Lovely place to go and we will definitely be going back, we highly recommend this hotel !!
