Very good, as you would expect from a Marriott family hotel.

Nice hotel in a lovely location, Rooms are a bit tired, however they have everything you could need including complimentary toiletries. Gym facilities good, although I did have to ask to be shown how to use the machines. Pool was clean as were the changing rooms - good long opening hours, with separate roped off area for kids. Breakfast was very good with a great choice - but would NOT recommend dinner in the restaurant - no sirloin steak left, one of our party had pork which was full of fat (it was agreed to take off the bill at our request) all four meals were just about warm - with a total bill of nearly £200 it was definitely not value for money and very disappointing. I must say the staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay again, but would definitely go out to eat!

We stayed for two nights and we are quite disappointed. This hotel is not child friendly, the can only use the swimming pool at certain times and are only allowed into lanes of the swimming pool. The hotel needs decorating and it is quite dark. Breakfast was very average. The good things were that the staff were helpful and our room was quite big. There are many beautiful places in the Cotswolds where to stay and this is definitely the cheapest but less appealing option. I would say this is a business hotel rather than a family hotel.

Excellent service, the staff were kind, welcoming and inviting. I requested an alternative breakfast which was supplied with no issues. I would recommend this hotel to friends/family

The tv didn’t work in the room, which wasn’t a massive issue as we were only really there to sleep, but would have come in handy whilst we were getting ready for our two year old for sure! We had to push the beds up to the wall to stop toddler falling out, and it was very dusty under the bed - not something you’d realise if the beds remained in place. But the cleanliness in bathroom was good, there were a couple marks on the towels but they smelt clean so had been washed. Overall it was comfortable and we would definitely stay here again. We could have done with an extra loo roll and there was 1 and 1/2 in the room but went quickly!

Toilet still had poo in it ! Bathroom had not be cleaned or checked evidentially ! Not what you want especially with a toddler ! Shower did not turn off properly so it just ran continually making a steam room ! We turned the shower onto cold to save the hot water! When we complained we were told that housekeeping had gone home as had maintenance !! An hour after complaining they then spent a further 30 mins checking if they had another room ! They said they didn’t so asked “how bad is it” …. How bad is it that the toilet has poo in it and the room has not been cleaned properly???? I didn’t really know how to answer that and by this point I had found a local Tescos, driven there, purchased cleaning materials and cleaned the room ! We were offered a free drink at the bar as an apology ! We stayed from Saturday to Monday, shower just leaked continually whilst the country is seeing hosepipe bans ! Must have wasted several hundred litres over our stay ! Staff whilst friendly did not have any authority to resolve anything ! Hotel reception, bar and restaurant was boiling, no air conditioning or not working ! It was cooler outside on the hottest day of the year !

Hotel is well presented, although I think they need more staff for the breakfast shift. The spa needs policing a bit as there were children in the hot tub, the sauna was not working
