Brilliant stay, the welcome pack for the kids was really special and all the extra included items with the room made the stay memorable. Excellent staff and lovely food too!

Not a very relaxing spa experience with a lot of children in the pool/spa area, shouting, playing ball games, jumping and splashing. Jacuzzi and changing rooms very nice, preferred using the changing rooms showers etc then bathroom in room. Room was average, bathroom needs updating, dirty/stained shower curtain. Bed very comfortable and good size room. All food and drinks were very nice in particular breakfast. Staff and service could be better, staff were not very attentive, left for a long time without drinks or service. Some items not on the menu at dinner.
Overall very average stay possibly not worth the money and especially having to pay £10 per person to use the spa facilities.

I chose this hotel on a recommendation and due to the fact that it was conveniently located. It’s overpriced for the condition and facilities of the building. It’s relatively expensive and the room was in a significantly older condition than in the photos, eg sealant in bathroom was old and filthy, furniture was from 90s, general decor hasn’t been updated in years. Many of the lights didn’t work. It has a very 80s/90s feel which is probably when it was built. It costs extra to use the “spa” which is mostly a pool with lots of kids so not relaxing. Some facilities were out of use. In room coffee and toiletries were good, staff were generally helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Didn’t eat at the restaurant or bar so can’t comment on the food. Next time, I’d stay elsewhere for half the cost and take taxis or drive to where I needed to get to.

Have stayed before on a number of occasions for business and visiting family in area as we lived close by some years ago and my work office was in area. So know hotel. Wry well and lived nearby when it was being built. Hotel is usually very good, convenient, close to amenities although always felt a little expensive considering breakfast is an extra and using the pool is an extra. However, staff always good, food good and hotel has a nice ambience to make for a pleasant stay IF you can get a good deal. This time however, we had room 200 which was right over the laundry area and cobble stone passageway they roll trolleys of laundry out from 05:30 to 06:30 or close to those times and the noise of the trollies woke us up on both morning we stayed this time. The first time we thought it was a one off but then next day same very load rumbling noise of trollies on cobble stone pathway. My advice stay away from any room near 200. Also had to advise reception on leaving that the toilet pan needed bleaching or cleaning as mould over one of the water flushing holes near the front rim was not very pleasant but a good clean and bleach would sort I’m sure. Would we stay again.. yes definitely but not in room 200 or anywhere near and I’d check toilet pan for mould before using room.

It's a well located hotel just off the highway. We booked a family room before visiting Paultons Park.
Room was only available at 3pm, the room was well appointed and clean. Nothing wrong with the setup while the bed was a sofa bed, with two teens it would be better to have twin or bunk setup.
The Spa is nice with swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna. Family swimming is 25gbp and is between 3 and 7pm.
There is a bar, probably the best of the F&B outlets and there are nice areas to sit. We had drinks and lunch on arrival, the food was disappointing and mediocre at best.
There are two restaurants, one in the hotel and one just a 1 minute walk on the same premises.
We went for dinner in the gastro pub just across. The service was non-existent and terrible without any form of communication. The manager was hiding and poor. We had to wait over 1 hour and 15min for our food to be delivered. The pizza and mac and cheese from the kids menu were nice and good. The fish and chips was OK. The two things to stay far away from is the dirty dog and the gammon, both inedible and of poor quality. The bun was like a rock and burned, the sausage half burned. The gammon was like eating a shoe sole. Upon leaving we paid and while sorry the manager leaves his staff to deal with his poor management skills. A couple that visits regularly told us that the food used to be good but also they had a very disappointing experience in the restaurant the same night.
We visited the bar after din

Hi
We had two young children, we choose to stay here as it’s meant to be child friendly however, no microwave, bottle warmer or bed bar could be provided. We asked for a one hour earlier checkin but told it would be a £25 charge which we declined. The room was cold with the heating not working and no one in maintenace on Saturday. Two electric radiators were provided which helped.
Upon check in we were advised of a £25 charge to use the swimming pool, which we paid. We didn’t see this advertised anywhere else prior to booking and had no choice. There is no proper children’s pool as stated and the steam room didn’t work.
The restaurant service was spot on 10/10 they where soo helpful and knowledgable and met all my requirements.
The staff in Spa area are abrupt so wasn’t too happy with them.
Can’t fault any other interaction we had
I wouldn’t stay again with family but for couples it would be spot on location

Room was very dated and needs updating especially the bathroom. The bed was reasonable however the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable for the kids. The air con broke so it became extremely warm and unbearable to get ready for a wedding.
The room in general was dirty. We paid a lot to stay here and it just wasn’t worth the money.
The hotel looks fancy when you walk in but it really was nothing special. Don’t waste money on having breakfast via room service. Almost £16 to have some cornflakes to your door. You pay extra £25 per room to use the pool; I missed the small print regarding this when booking the hotel.
If you like to throw money away then stay here but you will get a better experience anywhere else.

Disappointed!!!
There was stains on the carpet, crackle glasses, milk residue on kids cups, mould around bathroom sink and tiling over bathroom, limescale and mould on shower head, bath side damaged and dirty.
Milk machine in hall covered in milk and smelly.
Asked to pay an extra £25 for our family of 2 young kids to go swimming for our only availability of 30-45 minutes not let up at all discriminating against us using a third part for our booking.
Had breakfast in the morning in the bar area because there wasn’t any availability where tables were unclean and food was very expensive. £8.50 for a bacon roll- 2 slices of bacon and a roll awful!!!!
