Jurys Inn London Croydon

Would defo recommend this hotel. Staff was friendly, room was clean and cosy and breakfadt was lovely. As a single parent with two kids I felt safe staying at this hotel.

Booked and paid via Hotels.com, employee on reception tried saying I had to pay there also, took 15 mins to realise he was looking at another booking once the manager came across. Was seated for food, waited 30mins, no-one took an order, had to go and ask if I could order. Fish and chips was like a children's meal for nearly £18.00. Shower in room (921) was cold and poor pressure. Breakfast, went up to the buffet, nearly everything gone, not keeping it up at all (1nr egg, 1nr spoonful of beans, no sausages, 3nr rashers of bacon, a few mushrooms and 1nr hash brown is what was left). Spent over £150.00 for a VERY sub-standard night.

We did not stay at your hotel. My wife got sick and her doctor advised her not to travel from the USA to London for six weeks. We called and emailed the hotel and booking staffs numerous times to explain the situation and to cancel the reservation. Booking and Hotel staff showed no compassion or understanding, even when we sent a medical certificate from our doctor. I will protest/dispute the hotel charge with my credit card company. Lousy customer service from both booking and hotel associates.. I will certainly make family/friends/associates aware of this disappointing experience.

2 nights, booking traveling with a kid, The room heating was set up to a low-temperature 18-19C.in January. the AC thermostat was not working to increase the temperature ( was still blowing cold). for the first night in the room was very cold, next day in the Morning we have advised the reception staff and they have advised us they will look into it. when we got back to the room in the evening, was still cold in the room. we cold the reception and the maintenance guys broth to us a very small radiator. ( was a bit better but it was still kind of cold in the room ) . for a 3.5 stars and almost 100gbp per night that was a very disappointing experience, Value for the money was charged a very big minus. Breakfast was good though and the location was good as well a bit noisy as a big road just downstairs.

Was lucky and got an upgraded room. I think it's cause they made a mistake but I'm not complaining. Breakfast was really nice too, even my picky eater of a child enjoyed it

Hotel was lovely until I drew the curtains in the morning and a found a plastic bag of used Condoms and baby wipes tucked into the curtains 😩😩yuck Told reception on check out but no response really just a sorry Hotels .com have sorted as much as they could for me but hotel response not at all helpful as they said I didn’t report it on check and yet I did

The front desk were very helpful to me. Even when they had a rude customer at the time. They didn't flap but showed true professionalism. The decor in the rooms is lovely. I would be happy to come back to this hotel again and would recommend it to my friends or family
