Room was great and check-in and check-out were easy, but the bar area was very noisy with screaming children running around.

I was disappointed that the third bed inthe room was supposedly only suitable for a child. I was travelling with my wife and elderly aunt, and as it was going to be a very short night( leaving the hotel at2.45 am) ,we didn’t mind sharing. Consequently when we were told that it couldn’t be 3 adults, we had to take a second room for my aunt, another £150 for a bed. The hotel staff were very pleasant, the decor good, position excellent, but I was left with a very sour taste in my mouth.

We arrived at 1am. Having stayed at the hotel the previous week and received excellent service we were met by a non communicative unfriendly member of staff. Arrived at room to find sofa bed not ready for my child. Back to reception and advised room not made up for 3. Bluntly told the bed was there we just needed sheets which would be sent to room. No apology. I made it clear I also expected that someone would assemble the bed and make it up. Same person arrived a short time after and without words or any apology made bed up and left. I know that errors happen with rooms in busy hotels but I would expect some sort of communication and a welcome from a front of house member of staff and an apology when something is not correct

very convenient for access to terminal. Though found the restaurant menu uninspiring and the children's menu price extremely expensive

Complete disaster, booked the Novotel as I wanted a nice hotel walking distance from the airport for an early flight for my family holiday the next morning. We arrived around 10:30pm in the evening but as I prepaid the room I didn’t think this would be an issue. Arriving at the hotel I was informed that they didn’t have a room for me and my family. The team at the hotel were totally inept and unable to get anything. As one of my children is autistic it can make travelling quite stressful so where possible I try to plan ahead to minimise the issue. Unfortunately it seems the Novotel did not care to inconvenience families with young children when they can’t organise their own hotel. Luckily another international hotel chain was much more competent and able to help sort out a last minute family room for me. Will never use this hotel again!!!

we were in a family room total 2 adults and 2 kids and you could not even walk around the bed there was that little room. the bathroom door was not lockable with large gaps on the top and bottom so no privacy at all the staff were however very friendly and helpful so A++ for that, but as for the room size sorry management are being too greedy and stuffing as many people in a small space, that type of hotel is not for us. cheers

Nice enough hotel with regards to cleanliness and location however coming out of NCP carpark 1, trying to locate the airport not easy as it was only really clearly visible from the airport side. The food (we had prawn noodles and kids buffet) was amazinf, very yummy. But for a family of 4 to have a meal and drink each for £85 which is alot of money!! £12 for a glass of a wine is extortionate!! An alarm in the rooms would be handy for extra reassurance and confidence for waking up early due to early flight as no alarm calls from reception.

Rooms were nice but the breakfast on the second day was a shambles they had ran out of everything from food to plates/cutlery. The staff appeared disorganised one even said to a family that was looking to book for breakfast - you do know it’s expensive and you would be better going elsewhere. Another family the waitress gave special attention to giving them a goodie bag and getting them poached eggs and omelettes from the kitchen which no one else was offered. For the price we paid for the hotel and breakfast it certainly wasn’t worth the money and we probably paid a lot more than usual because it was the commonwealth games.

We booked a family room for one night. The plane was delayed and we arrived at the hotel at 2:30 am. Check in very quick and efficient. Breakfast was reasonably priced and very good. Our 13 year old grandson loved it.
