Happy Caretta Hotel

Had a two night stay in this family run little hotel. What a wonderful position on the river with fantastic views of the Lycian tombs. Great to sit on the river edge platform watching the boats on their way to and from “Turtle beach”. Do not be put off by the 10 minute walk into central Dalyan as it is worth being in a more secluded spot. The breakfast is basic and fresh and we ate out in the evenings at nearby restaurants which were excellent. Would be very happy to return for a restful mini break or start a more extended visit to Turkey with a visit here to unwind. Really pleased to have found the Happy Caretta .

Absolutely stunning. Just so beautiful. The owners couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were typical Turkish couldn't fault the rooms clean and spacious. Shame we only stayed for one night next year I am taking my family for longer. We could sit by the the side of the river it was just a wow view. We caught the river boat to turtle beach from the hotel that was just fantastic. At the other end of the beach is a turtle hospital. I would recommend this small hotel to anyone a good 5 min walk away from the little shops and restaurants. Shame we didn't have time to eat there but the homemade food came well recommended. The beds were so comfy we were all asleep in minutes. We came out of the hotel for 11.30 but they looked after our bags until we went at 6pm. We loved every minute in this hotel just so friendly. We also loved every thing about Dalyan it's just stunning.
