The hotel is literally around the block of kata beach. This is great there area is nice not so many tourists as in patong. But the hotel… the rooms are small. There are only a view things like shampoo but no razor or anything. You have to walk quite a few stairs before you get to the elevator. So if you have a stroller or a wheelchair it is impossible to get to your room. There are many insects around the pool. The food was not so good not bad but not great either. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Because I travelled with a baby a 2 kids we had to book an extra room because the room was too small for everyone to be comfortable.
