Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket

It’s my second time , overall all the resort, the location, the beach almost private, the pool are very good and the stuff all are good like the guys in the kids area the man from Turkey and the woman they made my kids day. But what need to improve is the room towls not new , the wood getting old in the rooms, they need to be arranged more in the club car service. the only stuff i face a problem with his name i think Bow i’m asking for club car and no one come and i faced him on my way to the reception i told him pick us up and he refused ! he is going to another room then i told i already order a club car and no one come he said ok come in with a sad face ! and going very fast in the road !! i have a pregnant woman and two kids in this open car !! why he go so fast it is not safe !! thats it overall i recommend the hotel for families.

A good 4 star hotel that is on the outdated. Nice beach and safe option. Fun pools for children. Beach club had good food. Nice bar tender and dining stuff. Front desk was okay. They made us feel pressured to leave at 10:30AM to get our bags when our check out time is 11:00. I said 10:50, they said 10:30. If the check out time is 10:30 when you want us out of the hotel please adjust your check out stance. Once we agreed to 10:30 am baggage pick up came 10:25 am… this is our vacation please don’t pressure us to exit the property. Otherwise everything else was good. A great beach and pool made it worth it. Thank you

We liked the kids activities and amenities. We did not like the lack of attention to detail. We asked for transportation to the airport at a certain time and they weren’t able to deliver. We missed our flight as a result. Definitively not 5 stars experience, but solid 4 stars.

This hotel is very good for families, it’s very clean and well maintained, food was good and activities for kids were good. However, it is quite far from the main Phuket City, if you just want to relax and enjoy at the resort it’s a good option but if you want to visit Phuket city and main areas then you’ll have to hire a taxi and it could get quite expensive if you end up doing few times since most attractions are at least half an hour away.

I enjoyed our stay and would enjoy visiting again. I went with my son and he LOVED the pool and water park area. The beach is accessible right off the pool but the water is too rough to go in. That didn’t effect our plans as the pool was more than enough to meet swimming desires. There is a swim up bar that you can get drinks from and food too. If you want to go into Patong it’s a short taxi or Tuk Tuk ride away and runs about 400 baht. The lobby can arrange a taxi for you and even charge it to your room. Very convenient! Food was good but with a picky eater, it became a little too repetitive. That would be the only complaint. We just took a taxi into Patong and hit up the mall or other food establishments. Highly recommend for families!

Buffet breakfast was great, the lazy river was a crowd pleaser and great kids club.

Our family have visited this hotel three times. Since after Covid-19, we had a lot of expectations to visit again. Everything was same as good location and gorgeous beach site. However, there was something my family needed, we tried to contact staffs, but there was no immediate action and even no response at all. It had never happened before. And the room was clean and good overall, but some water cups were not cleaned at all. The hotel needs to be more attention and considerate of customers.
