You’ve already probably compared the few options that Expedia has to offer in the area of phi phi, this is obviously the most affordable and cleaner option. What you pay, is what you get. They provide a decent roof over your head, AC works great, the restrooms are clean. I do understand how some reviews regarding the rude staff can come into play. I wouldn’t say they were rude, but they just look very complacent and laid back. They don’t have that, “resort front desk” type of feel. If you’re on level one, you do hear people walking above you, sometimes the local kids running. There are small spiders inside of the rooms near the backboard lights. Plenty of them actually, best you don’t even attempt to try and wipe them down. They’ll wake up and scatter … so there is that issue. The location is in the quiet part of town, but 3 minute walk to the chaos and party side of town. Walking distance to the beach, pier and plenty of food options in the area. We did leave one day earlier, not because of the room or services, just because there isn’t much to do on that island other than party and boat tours. I would definitely rate this location 3.5/5 … decent stay compared to all the other locations / hostels
