First time to Chiang Mai and this hotel. Would certainly stay again and recommend to family and friends. Very nice quiet room Quiet side street location but strolling minutes from temples, the wall and cafes. 15 minutes drive from Hotel to Airport I booked a pick up from the hotel @ 400 Baht. You may able to do the trip by taxi a little cheaper

Amazing property. What a great location. Made me feel like Mr miyagi from karate kid would walk out any minute. Amazing service. Great spacious rooms. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included in my package and was excellent. They made you feel special. We wanted to go to the night bazaar and a staff member drove us there. Snack and drinks in the lobby. 5 star service. Would absolutely recommend and will come back. Thank you for making Chiang Mai an amazing experience.

Great for families with young children. Lovely place with in-house spa. Rooms doors could be improved to close more smoothly and silently.

4 out of 5 stars

The hotel is new and the huge room (50sqm) was more than adequate for me and my family of four. Location-wise, it is at the edge of the old town so expect a 20min walk to the center - though the hotel provides free shuttles. The one thing that bugged me was the constant need to re-connect to the wifi as it automatically disconnects when you're not using your phone. Another was that the hotel refused to issue another room card when my wife lost hers on the second day. I couldn't really get the logic of why this was an issue. For a family of four to rely on one room card ended up quite inconvenient. Overall, the hotel was luxurious and the staff were all smiles. I enjoyed the breakfast too as you ordered a set from a menu instead of it being a buffet spread which causes excess food wastage. I'll probably opt for other hotels closer to the city in future visits but I do give credit to The Chiang Mai Old Town hotel for running a well oiled machine. They just need to fix the wifi to make it a perfect experience. One tip - given that the words 'Chiang Mai' and 'Old Town' are very ubiquitous, it's important you key in the exact name and double check the address when using GPS, maps, Grab/Uber. There are other establishments with these words in their name so it's easy for your map to pick up a wrong destination.
