Mu Jiao Xi Hotel

This hotel is great. It provides a 5 star service for sure. The condition, cleanness, food, room and most of the things are great. My kids and I had a good time during our stay. However, the only thing that didn't make any sense at this hotel was that they requested everyone to have a swimming cap to be able to get in their pools. We have traveled to many resorts and hotels in many countries. We have never seen any hotels requesting a swimming cap to get in the pools. This is really so inconvenient and bothers us a lot. We have no desire to visit this hotel again to be honest.

Room was huge, clean and hotel looks very new. Family friendly and lots of activities for kids. Nice pool and hot spring area and very convenient location. Take a car direct to taoyuan airport is about an hr. Much better than leaving from taipei

All areas are poorly lit, it’s quite dangerous to take your older family members since they can’t see that well in the dark, and IT WAS DARK. A more than $250/night hotel shouldn’t have stain on the restaurant seatings and even two half pieces of toasts tucked under the table. Remember I said the rooms were poorly lit? Ditto for the bathroom, and if you’re going to use the rainfall shower, good luck, the overhead light is directly above your head so the light shines right into your eyes, but other than that light source, everything else was poorly lit. The interior design for the bedroom is also awful. There’s only one vanity/bathroom sink, and it’s located inside the bathroom, so if you’re taking a shower and someone wants to wash their hands after they use the restroom, sorry, no can do. The music at the breakfast buffet was so loud we could barely hear ourselves think. Remember we talked about the poorly lit bedroom and bathroom? Ditto for the public hot spring bath, my 75-year-old dad almost tripped himself because he couldn’t really see. The staff were extremely friendly and polite though!

The room is large, the beds are comfortable. It is clean. My sons really enjoyed the onsen and game room. Nearby has family mart for snacks and drinks. We will definitely come back or recommend to friends and family.

Overall was a great stay, again. We brought our 1 1/2 yrs old son with us, he had a wonderful time playing, again. Staff were nicely assisted us whenever we desired, room was clean and had prepared a crib, children bath tub and bottle sterilizer. The only thing I’d like to point out is the children bath tub, we didn’t use it at all was because the bottom of the tub, seemed not (never) cleaned, the pink fungus cause by over moisture were all over the bottom of the tub, maybe it is a great little detail to pay attention in the future.

We absolutely loved the buffet restaurant, dinner was absolutely delicious and so was breakfast. The hotel was great for kids, the only reason I took one star out was the room being a bit stuffy when we first entered.
