A pleasant family friendly hotel conveniently close to the station, cathedral, parks and many restaurants. While not overly spacious the rooms are adequate and clean, with attentive daily servicing. Front-facing rooms with a view over the lake are best, though those to the side along Rue de la Paix are perfectly adequate, many having a balcony from which one can glimpse the lake. One gets plenty of exercise walking to and from the town centre as the hotel is situated on one of Lausanne's many hills. The lake is quite some distance from the hotel but one can take advantage of the free bus pass offered to visitors. A very pleasant stay.

beautiful location and great hotel. We reserved a "family room" - two adjoining rooms. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is delicious. The staff are very nice. I would definitely stay here again.
