Scandic Oceanhamnen

The hotel was a great fit for my family. The bunk beds were perfect to accommodate the kids. The breakfast was included and had a variety of choices that would appease everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

In general OK with nice views over the Øresund. Good breakfast and relatively close to the center. However for this price range, there are better hotels in this city. The "spa" / "relax" area smelled of feet, cramped with people and kids looking and playing around and half naked people coming from the sauna, a bit weird. The room does not have fridge or minibar, no information at all in the room regarding the reception number, so I had to go downstairs and talk to them instead of calling from the room. The service is quite poor, seems like they are not willing to help much. The first time I visited the hotel, they charged the room on my credit card, but Hotels.com had alteady charged it, so I got it credited a week later. Annoying though. Prisewise too expensive for what you get.

It was impossible to park near hotel. We got an app at the reception to find parking place, but it didn’t work neither on iPhone nor Android! We could see a free spot, but were not able to get in without payment and were not able to pay neither with credit card nor with swish. Tired with 2 small children in the car, circling around for half an hour. Nearest parking was ca 15-20min walk from the hotel. Not a nice experience! Hotel room was looking out on another building(see pic), without bath tub as we wished. Otherwise nice looking, clean new hotell near train station. Just don’t come by car.
