Really lovely hotel. Great service, every member of staff greets you as you pass and will try to do everything they can to make your stay even better. They are continuing to do improvements but you would not notice the people at work. Food is very good, slightly more expensive than the town prices but still very good. Very family friendly hotel, we would definitely recommend and we would stay here again. There one salt water pool and another chlorine pool, great views over the ocean, a sports bar and gym. Great value for money

The hotel is beautiful, there are two good pools, the breakfast buffet is terrific, and the staff is friendly. I was traveling as a solo parent with two young kids and chose this hotel to take advantage of the children’s club and beach access. The children’s club was not what I had in mind: it’s an unattended indoor play room, so I wasn’t able to leave my kids there for any period of time. The beach access is disappointing: there is no swimmable area, just some lounge chairs set up by the rocky shore. Since it’s not a smoke-free hotel, there were plenty of smokers around the pool and I found this obnoxious. The dinner doesn’t start until 7:30pm which is too late for my young kids. During our stay I asked about the turtle hatcheries and the woman who helped me suggested I set up a tour and also see the stilt fishing. It would be Rs5k for the tour for the 3 of us. In actuality, I was only paying for the driver (entry fees are extra), and he took us to the hatchery and was gone when we had finished! I couldn’t figure out where he went so I tried to get an Uber but then he came back—he had needed gas (I think?). Then he took us to the stilt fishing which was an extra Rs6k! I paid the driver Rs5k and the whole ordeal took 90 mins—I should have just hired my own Uber. At checkout the hotel didn’t let me leave because I was supposed to pay *them* the Rs5k and they had to sort it out with the driver. Overall, leave the kids at home or get a hotel on the beach, and book your own rides

Nice property right by the beach in a secluded area. Everything is pretty clean and we were attended to all the time. The room was spacious and a baby cot was ready for us as per our request. It's an excellent product and the rate, though a bit expensive for Sri Lanka's cost of life, is in line with the services and amenities. It's not a big hotel chain of course but the staff are friendly, courteous and genuinely happy. There are a few things to improve here and there but these are minor points. Highly recommandable.
