H10 Imperial Tarraco

From the moment we arrived we were very happy with nearly everything about the hotel. Checking in was swift and efficient and we were able to unload our luggage from the car at the entrance before taking it to the private hotel car park at the rear. Although expensive at 22 euros per day, the secure, convenient parking is worth it. We were offered a welcome drink. Our junior suite overlooking the Roman amphitheatre and the sea was perfect - clean, spacious and well appointed with a really comfortable bed. There was a huge range of items for breakfast and everything was good quality and well presented. Service throughout was good, but has only earned 4 stars as we had to wait a long time for attention in the bar and eventually had to go and ask for menus as we wished to order food. The bar was very quiet and there were 2 staff members but they seemed more interested in cleaning glasses than serving us. One other staff member finally arrived and provided good service. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, the front desk staff are very welcoming with great service. The drinks on arrival was a lovely added touch. We had the junior suite which had an amazing view of the sea and the ampere theatre. The room was big, spacious and very clean. Also a nice added message from the hotel to wish my mother a happy birthday (thank you). I really wanted to give 5 stars but our breakfast was cold. We paid €19 each which offered a great selection of different foods but unfortunately was let down as the hot food was cold by 9am when we came downstairs. The roof top has a lovely view and definitely recommend. The hotel is within walking distance of most of the attractions and places to eat. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Optimal location. Near the end of Rambla Nova and the "mediterranean balcony". The junior suite had view of sea, roman amphiteater and Circ Roma. Nice spacious room. Even the shower was bigger than the bathroom in some hotels. Minibar and safe. The only not working properly was the TV where the startup channel, probably an Hotel information channel, only displayed that the license was invalid. The room felt fresh and updated.

Lovely hotel in central Tarragona, nearby the beach. Nice facilities. Rooftop bar and pool with a stunning view. Breakfast is delicious. Recommend a junior suite - good p/v.

Fantastic service with great junior suites next to each other and lovely chambermaids taking good care of us. Rooftop bar has mind blowing views. We returned, and will do so again.

Pros: - lovely tasteful renovation with white painted wood & solid wooden floors/surfaces - Pool (1 medium, 1 small rooftop with bar & kids) - Handy location - walkable to sights shops, restaurants & beach - Breakfast included & although very busy they restock frequently. Lots of fresh fruit & a bit too much cakes/pastries! - Pool towels provided - Nespresso with 1 free water to use in room - Chocolates in room on arrival - Great AC in rooms Cons - pool gets crowded in afternoon & no on monitoring loungers so often many people have left but towels left on them! - toilet roll holder & bin lid broken in our bathroom & shower due to poor design soaks floor - very little vegetarian options for breakfast & ‘hot counter’ was luke warm. Only alternative milk was hot oat milk, I didnt see soy or any cold plant milks for cereal. - only one chair in double/twin room balconies so only 1 person can sit out! - No AC in common areas.. breakfast room & lifts/corridors gets hot!
