Hotel Estela Barcelona

We loved our junior suite with ocean view! Spectacular! I didn’t get his name but the young gentleman who checked us in was very helpful with questions I had, scheduling transportation to the airport and assisting with train schedule for day trip into Barcelona.

I don’t know where to start. I love art. I have my BFA and have been involved with all kinds of art. Both in NYC and Los Angeles. I have been to shows, galleries and museums all over the world. Not only does what was on “display” in my room puzzle me it worries me that someone with the wear with all to run a hotel as nice as this hotel could be would decorate my room the way they did. I was in New York during the crack epidemic and or room looked like the visualization, poorly executed, of the fever dream of a crack head in the throes of withdrawal. And I don’t mean to insult the addict. I kid you not there is a glob of paint that looks like an actual smear of fecal material. Each room has locally inspired artwork, giving a very different feel to other local ‘corporate’ hotels like the bland Melia and Port Sitges. A 30 min walk into the town and main beaches is an attractive port and promenade stroll, but there’s a small beach opposite the hotel that’s ideal for families. The staff and service was excellent,

Great hotel, excellent location, great breakfasts and great views of the beach and marina from the balcony. Very near to a family friendly beach. An easy 20 minute walk to the centre of Sitges or a 2 minute walk to the marina which is full of fantastic restaurants. I would definitely stay again when next in Sitges.

Nice, small Art hotel ideal for families. Quiet area close to a small beach but a little too far from the center of Sitges. Good restaurants a few minutes walking distance at the port. Quiet area. Rooms should have tea/coffee-making facilities.
