Barcelona Airport Hotel was a great place to stay overnight for our early morning flight home. Check in was easy and efficient. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Our room was excellent. The beds were perhaps the most comfortable during our one month holiday in Spain. Facilities in the room were 5/5. Our dinner in the bar area was scrumptious - fresh and delicious. The complementary shuttle to the airport every 20 minutes was gold! We would not hesitate to recommend Barcelona Airport Hotel to family and friends.

We were checked in by friendly staff who spoke English. We booked two triple rooms for our family of five. Everything was very clean and I appreciated the blackout curtains. Breakfast is not included but it is half price for kids. The buffet offered a beautiful breakfast with made to order omelettes, pastries, fruit, fresh juice and several types of coffee. I also noticed there were gluten free bread available.
We walked to a small restaurant bar serving tapas that was across the street from a playground (Tapas Bar La Brasa) which was about 20 minutes from the hotel in Llobregat. The taxi back to the hotel was €14.
The shuttle was a little tricky to find when we exited the terminal, but after watching the YouTube video linked in the welcome email message, it was much easier. Note, you will have to load your own bags in and out of the shuttle. The airport is a very short way from thr hotel.
After checkout, we had some time to kill. The hotel staff kindly kept our bags while we visited Poble Espanyol.

The hotel Is comfortable especially for family or people with Kids. The pool Is good and the rooms are very clean and tidy. The staff Is friendly and helpful.

When I got off the plane from Budapest, I sat waiting for my luggage with a few other families from Budapest. We sat there for 20 minutes and never saw the belt where our luggage should’ve been. Finally, one of the fathers went and asked, and he said “D!”
I didn’t know what he meant, but I followed him. We went out of the airport and walked for 20 minutes to get our luggage. No one ever informed us of this at all!
This morning, when I left the Barcelona airport to come back to the states, I was appalled at the antiquated systems they have there.
I had to show my boarding pass and passport six times! We had to wait and ridiculous lines several times and everyone around me was complaining and saying how ridiculous it was!
Then, when I got to the gate in plenty of time, I got into line for my priority boarding with Delta. Right as I was ready to get on the plane, they were calling out names and the last one included mine.
I had no idea what the problem was and they told me it was a random security check. And over 50 years of flying, that has never happened to me!
I was wondering at one point if the airport was under high security alert?
Then the first three zones had to walk downstairs and get onto a bus that was packed. The bus literally drove for 20 minutes and let us out. Then we had to climb up a huge flight of stairs to the airplane. People were actually taking pictures and videos because it was so unbelievable!
I will never fly out of that airport again!

For US$180 per night this hotel was closed to the airport with 24 hours shuttle. This was the only positive.
We checked in after midnight hoping to get 3-4 hours sleep before our morning flight. After settled down and fell asleep at around 2am some other customers (old ladies with young children) just opened our room door with their room key! I am not sure if they just checked in and was given the same room as mine who just checked in 2 hours ago or whatever reason. My husband jumped out of bed as soon as the door was opened, and I can hear their voice that they felt terrible (totally not their fault!). At this point I am super tired and need to catch my flight in 2 hours so I tried to go back to sleep (of course impossible since the incident). When I checked out, I told the front desk what happened, it's been 24 hours passed and no one reached out for apologized or explanation. They only sent a Spanish email asking for review, even all previous communication were in English.
This is the worst part not counting the following:
1 - stain on hand towel
2 - toilet seat right in front of doble sink and towels (gross)
3 - broken trash can without trash bag
4 - shuttle supposed to leave at 4:00am, the next one is in 40 minutes. It left almost 10 minutes earlier than schedule and the shuttle was NOT FULL yet.
5 - shuttle bus driver drove angry & yelled at the passenger sitting on the front row about his handicap sign, even her foot was hurt and was hopping on the steps with 1 leg

We booked this hotel as we had an early flight the next morning with a toddler and it had a pool. Unfortunately, the pool was closed as it was "off-season" - no mention of this anywhere on their hotels.com listing so we were very disappointed in this. Food in the restaurant was pretty good but some staff members abrupt, bordering on rude. Very nice rooms and very comfortable bed.

The property excellent but the security guy at night his really disrespectful,rude,mean guy even the way he approached to kids and adults is really disappointed… but front desk staff and other staff in the hotel really nice people.. just this security guy maked our stay really disappointed and even treated us that he would make us leave the hotel.

This is our second time staying here. Nice property very close to the airport. We were ripped off by the cab driver who brought us from the airport after returning the rental car so be careful. Use the shuttle. We stayed in a suite because our teenage grandchildren were traveling with us. The only negative was the bathroom is open to the room which I don’t prefer. Otherwise great place! Highly recommend.

I had booked 1 room during my initial reservation. When I reached the hotel at check-in they asked me to pay for another room since I had 2 small kids. They could have accommodated my kids in 1 room instead of having me pay for additional room. Also, the heater in the room was very high and I wasn't able to lower the temperature. I called the main desk but they weren't of any help. Due to these reasons my 1 night stay wasn't very pleasant at this hotel.

great staff at restaurant very nice. but when you arrive after long trip, you leave you car almost not completely in front of hotel, you just want to check in, leave suitcases and bring rental car back and you get sent away. you have children and have to go half a mile away to park to come back for 2 minutes finish check in.....and then you walk back half mile to get the car to bring to rental , company.....absolutely not guest friendly with kids and family, even the hotel has 20-30 meters of sidewalk in front of hotel where you could leave car for 2 minutes......but they prefer you walk half a mile until you find a puplic place....so rude person at the reception who make you from the 1st second welcome....that then does not help anymore that people in restaurant are so nice....
