Hotel Gaudí

Had a great stay at Hotel Gaudí. Just off of La Ramblas makes this a convenient location but also quieter than being on the main road. The staff were all friendly, the room was surprisingly spacious, and the rooftop with bar was an added bonus. I will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and would stay again if I return to Barcelona.

Horrible does not even start to describe my stay. There was smell of urine in the outside of the hotel, right by the side of the entrance. The front desk lady when we arrived was very rude , she treated us like if we were delincuents getting to a jail. That set up the whole tone of what came next. With the exceptuon of two employees (Arnau ) the rest are pure acod and it shows . They do not even look you at you at the eye. My husband went to say the tv was not working properly and was called a spoiled child. Never had I have an experience line this at a hotel ever. The manager just as despot as the rest of the hotel employees and the whole city for that matter. Never again. I do not reccomend.

Superbly located for the metro. Nice breakfast. The pool is more of a paddling pool but perfectly suitable for dangling your legs in and going for a paddle (unheated). My kids enjoyed. Teens might be less impressee. Views over to palace guell roof oposite. We spent a couple of quite afternoons on the roof terrace with the view There is a call button to order food and drink. Staff were polite. The lady serving breakfast was very friendly and smiley. Front desk were helpful. I asked for a key for our safe and they helped with info about travel. 15 mins from the beach. 15 mins from the Sagrada familia on public transport. Room was spotless and very comfortable! Very enjoyable stay for my first time abroad with my 2 kids. I would go again.

Our second stay at Hotel Gaudi and it is officially our first choice hotel in Barcelona. Clean, safe, bigger than the norm of European hotel rooms. We used a family room this time as we traveled with our pre teens and it was very spacious. Huge bathroom with two sinks. Roof top is very nice! A quiet stay close to everything you need in Barcelona! Walk everywhere. We walked to La Boqueria several times a day for snacks and quick bites. The best!

I stayed in the Gaudi Hotel with my family for three nights. The location of the hotel is excellent within walking distance to main touristic attractions, restaurants and transportation. The room itself was OK. It was spacious and clean. Although the room and furniture are outdated they are comfortable enough for the amount of time you spend in a room while you are traveling. Only complaint could be that not once the room keeping service provided us with a change of towels (clean and dry) towels while we stayed; all the time we had the same ones. Other than this was good.
