Iberostar Heritage Grand Mencey

This was our second visit to Santa Cruz and our second stay in the hotel. Came with two babies under two years. Stayed in a garden view suite. It was an excellent room. Service was great in the bar and the staff are all excellent. Convenient car park connected to hotel and wonderful location for the attractions of Santa Cruz. Will be back again from Edinburgh.

The hotel and its grounds are beautiful, and the location in Santa Cruz is perfect. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and I can’t say enough good things about our experience; the staff made us feel welcome and provided excellent and friendly service. The pool, spa, and workout facilities were beautiful and the view of the hills of Tenerife were stunning. We will recommend this hotel to our friends and family and are looking forward to coming back here again in the future!

A warm welcome after a 40 min drive from the airport. Room was a junior suite which was clean, spacious and look over a beautiful garden. Mini bar fully stocked and robe, slippers and creams were a delightful addition. Coffee machine in our room but the pods were not re stocked so was only able to use it our first night. We stayed 3 nights. Breakfast was full of healthy hearty selection and all delicious. Freshly squeezed orange juice hit the spot. Our evening meal was equally as nice with a good choice of menu. The bar area was our favourite. We originally had plans to go out, but feeling comfortable in such a pretty setting, served by the most friendly waiters, there was no need to venture out. The pool and pool bar area was tranquil and we enjoyed the peace and warm swim. Fully equipped gym looking out to the mountains made my morning run more enjoyable. The only gripe was we booked due to being a spa hotel, there is a spa but at additional cost. I didn’t recall reading this, so it came at a surprise. To be honest, we didn’t need the additional activity as we found relaxing and enjoying our peaceful surroundings in the late winter sun, was exactly what we required. We will most definitely return.

Centrally located property, well maintained. Our junior suite was located near a restaurant so we were kept up by noises until they closed. The breakfast buffet had many options but I didn’t feel it was as sanitary as you would expect for 5 star

We had the junior suite with about 45 sqm. The view was into the courtyard, but very quiet. The entire staff is very friendly, all wishes are fulfilled at the bar and there is no reason for complaint about the cleanliness. What is especially great about the hotel complex is the interplay between the old sophisticated hotel building and the straightforward concrete spa area. We can highly recommend the hotel, especially because it is also only five minutes from downtown. Thank you very much for the nice stay.
