Iberostar Playa Gaviotas Park

Overall we had a very lovely holiday, however, I won't be rushing back to this hotel. There are a lot of positives, the beach is walkable and very lovely, the staff are friendly, the food that was available was tastey and there was enough to do for the kids. But the building is dated, the bedrooms are very basic. The sinks are very high, the resort is full of kids however, I don't think any kid can wash their hands independently in the bedrooms or communal areas, not even a child friendly step in the rooms to help them out. This place worked for us as we were a large group but next time we would like to try somewhere else.

Great place for vacation. Especially with children. Very friendly staff. And Kitchen...., very high quality and broad selection. 3 km walk/run distance to the city. Great place for morning/eventing jogging. Very nice beach. I can only recommend this place.

Our 2nd stay at Gaviotas Park and this time with a toddler and it didn’t disappoint! Fabulous food and varied, spacious rooms, lovely pools, perfect location on the beach and good entertainment. We can’t praise the staff enough for being so fantastic with our 1 year old, they couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful if they tried. We would totally recommend this Iberostar hotel.

Stayed with my 2 year and 5 year old. Kids enjoyed their stay. A lot of activities keeping little ones busy all day. Food was Fantastic plenty of options. Playa beach is just stone away from the hotel. Very nice and family friendly beach. We will definitely coming back here.

God family get away - as the island is so small, everything is easily accessible. Worth mentioning that it is quite windy. Mini-club in the hotel was great and it was a really family atmosphere. Some good evening entertainment too. Poor food selection for vegetarians mind...so prepare for a salad diet.

This is a traditional all inclusive hotel with a very nice pool area only a minute or so from the long sandy beach. We really liked that "blocked" sunbeds were unblocked by 9am. Great! Food was plentiful and very varied with fresh fish, meats, pastas, pizzas and lots of vegetables, fruits and deserts. Something for everyone. Restaurants never felt crowded although the layout of the large dining room reminded us of a school cafeteria. Room was cleaned really well and hotel staff was friendly. The team of young animators did their best in driving daily sport and other activities. They even tried to activate our teenagers with varied outcomes.There were shows every night but quality of those in the sister hotel was higher. "Holiday" shopping some 10 minutes walk away and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops along the ocean. We liked the stay although the crowd our week was mostly families with younger children and elderly couples. In the evenings after dinner, it almost felt a little bit too quiet and we would have welcomed an alternative to the "mini-disco" for the miniclub members.

Great offer for children, every day entertainment, good food and location and nice accommodation. Overall recommendable to any family with young children.

We had a really great holiday at this hotel, ideal for family's with younger children. The two pools are a good size and the kids loved the childrens club, its close to the beach and the entertainment staff were brilliant. One of the best holidays we've had with the kids so far. Lovely area everyone was friendly and respectful. I would love to go again.

Great hotel for the kids, clean and friendly staff.

We took a long weekend trip. Nice accommodations. We are spoiled with Caribbean All-inclusive properties, so this was a little underwhelming. But compared to other European properties we've been to, this is right up there. Super Family Friendly. Lots of kids. Very easy access to get your kids food and drinks when they inevitably say "I'm Hungry."
