Hotel Saratoga

My wife & I enjoyed our stay in Mallorca & the Hotel Saratoga. Staff was friendly & very helpful. Rooms very clean & great atmosphere. I would highly this hotell to family & friends.

Just arrived home after a 3 night stay at Hotel Saratoga. Very enjoyable, room very spacious and fine for myself, wife and 2 children. Room and hotel very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Kids (8 and 6) enjoyed the pool as they could stand up and it wasn’t ever busy - we had it to ourselves for the best part of 2 hours each morning! Short walk to the seafront and a nice Italian restaurant just a few doors down.

This kid a 5 star hotel. I have them a 4 because the first night we were not explained on how the AC worked. However , the next day, Nico took care of us. He upgraded the room to one where the sun did not hit it much. It was awesome. I want to thank Nico for taking care of us.

I have booked a junior suite. Every morning before 7:00 am they started construction working in the room next to me and driving with concrete drills. Terrible. The hotel has major problems with sound insulation even while construction work was not underway. You can hear everything that happens on the first floor. The last night they had problems with the ventilation. Despite setting the temperature at 10° and the button for the ac with a snowflake, super hot air was sprayed into the room vents.

The hotel is in an excellent area - a short walk into Santa Carolina and the coast one way and the old town the other. Great shopping, bars, culture all easily accessible. Room was spacious, with balcony overlooking city, comfortable bed and great shower. Only downside was air conditioning was rubbish. It is old and really needs an upgrade - it only pumped cool air into the hallway area next to the bathroom so the cold area didn't reach the sleeping area. One night it was too hot to sleep and we couldn't open the balcony door as the road was very noisy. This was April so I think in mid summer it would be pretty unbearable. The breakfast buffet is extensive with a lot of choice. We couldn't eat in the restaurant as it was closed for a private party but had a drink on the rooftop bar which was lovely. It has great sunset views. The pools were good but small. The heated pool on the lower level where the sauna and jacuzzi were was taken over by small children so we didn't use it. The mid level pool was a good size but isn't heated and was mainly in the shade so less appealing. The rooftop pool is lovely but tiny so you can use as a cooling dip between drinks. Reception staff were welcoming and friendly and seemed to speak multiple languages.
