The Globales was perfect for my getaway with friends and family, lovely pool and location, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, they provided kettles etc when requested. The all inclusive food was a good quality with a great selection, we were very pleased with the breakfast. All in all I will be back for another short break in the sunshine!

As a family of 2 adults& 2children we are regular all inclusive bookers,I must say this hotel is the best I have stayed at by some way.We were met with a friendly, helpful and professional team of staff at reception, a theme which continued throughout our stay by, bar, restaurant, cleaning and entertainment personnel. The room allocated to us was a smaller building away from the main hotel known as the annexe, I found the room to be larger than I expected and had a 'new' appearance about it.The first thing to strike you about this hotel is the outstanding views (every room has a sea view) it is without doubt a location of natural beauty, even when you are leaving you will find yourself stealing one last look.The draft beer is San Miguel & local drinks are fine. Hot and cold food is available 16 hours a day as are drinks.During the day you can seperate yourself from the hustle and bustle around the pool area by using a large patio overlooking the sea or a lawned area overlooking an excelleny beach, there are sunbeds aplenty even around their pool area (3 pools available) A cliff walk is highly recommended, this also starts from the hotel and is safe. The entertainment & kids clubs are up to standard, I could not find fault with this hotel.

good location- easy access to beach, even though plenty of steps. lots of different places to eat or drink on site. Even though food was a bit "samey", it was a broad range of food and of a reasonable quality. its a very family orientated hotel, but i thought the noise in the corridors was pretty quiet really and there were quiet places to go to "get away" for a bit. it is a very quiet village though and we ended up going to cala millor for a night out that was bit "busier". but there were some bars near the hotel worth a quick visit.

There was two adults and a child (aged 11)on this trip. We all stayed in the same room where there were three single beds. The food is as I expected, it is basic but there is a wide variety from Pizza (make sure you get it freshly cooked else it can be like cardboard), Burgers, hotdogs etc through to main courses. All food is self service and the restaurants are plenty big enough so there is always somewhere to sit. There is also a BBQ every night as an alternative. There is always something to eat from when breakfast opens at 08.00 to midnight. Drinks are also good, if you are happy with non branded drinks there is a much wider variety available as part of the all inclusive than I have experienced elsewhere. Wine and water is always avialable on tap everything else you have to go to the bar for but the staff work hard to serve you very quickly. The hotel over looks the beach which makes a change of scenary from the two swimming pools they have and is kept relativley clean. I would definatley go there again, the hotel feels very spacious and I always managed to find a quiet corner to sit when I wanted to read in peace. The evening enterainment on whole was pretty rubbish but after a few drinks I did not care.

The Hotel America is situated in a lovely location and has a fantastic view over the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful. That is the good bit. The food was lacking in choice and repetitive although it all tasted ok. The place was overrun by children (in June) and adults who seemed to want to spend more time getting drunk than looking after them. The evening entertainment was all geared towards children and it was very loud so difficult to escape from. I would recommend the Hotel America for families who wish to stay in the hotel at all times. As a young couple, there was little to do in the surrounding area and the local bars were nice but quiet and expensive as all of the surrounding hotels are all inclusive as well.

The America is situated in the small resort of Calles De Mallorca on the East Coast of Mallorca. The resort is OK if you want to relax and not do a great deal as there are a small amount of bars (around 15 to 20) and 2 very nice beaches both in close proximity to the hotel. I had a hire car which let me explore more and to be honest if I had not I would have got bored, but thats just me! The hotel is nice with a relaxing lobby, 2 bars, a restaurant, a pizzeria and surrounding gardens. 1 bar is more adult orientated with comfy chairs, a TV and a terrace, the 2nd bar is only open late (after 12) and is not all inclusive. The 3rd bar is the pool bar which serves drinks and snacks. (Burgers, hotdogs, toasties, etc) The restaurant is good and had excellent food and salads. I never struggled to find something nice and had wine on tap. The pizzeria is excellent with some of the nicest pizza I had had in a long time and is open until 12pm. The BBQ should be mentioned as it is open for dinner every night (6-9pm) with a good selection of meat and fresh salad. The room was as expected for a Med hotel with excellent views from every room. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only slight complaint is that the doors slam quite easily so I got woken a few times but nothing major. The pools where OK with one being quite busy and one quite as it is in the shade in the afternoon. Overall I would recommend this hotel to friends and family who want a relaxing time in the sun!

Hotel very good with good service, excellent value for money. Mainly a family hotel, lots of children! Entertainment the usual cheesy stuff and bingo bingo bingo! not our thing at all, but there is a nice bar area away from the crowded, noisy entertainment area and a quiet lounge area. Beautiful beach and clear blue sea, but beware as the current can get a little strong further out. fantastic views from the hotel. Callas de Mallorca is fine, but very much built for the tourist, no character, but some nice little shops and a few bars. Overall, we had a great time.

+We had a very pleasant stay in Hotel America. The reception was very nice and helpful, rooms clean and nice. +Beautiful tarrace with the splendid view of the sea. -We didn't like the fact that the hotel bar was serving drinks in plastic cups. -Breakfast (mostly full English breakfast:) was the same everyday.-We were there at the beginning of October and the weather was still nice (23-25C)but water in the sea and in the swimming pools was already to cold to swim.It was just freezing.-Water in the sea is very clean and just unbelevably blue.Beautiful views of the sea.-The Hotel America and Callas de Mallorca are good choice for families and people who want to have peacful and quiet holiday. Me and my boyfriend were one of the youngest people there.The place is definitely not for young people and couples.
