This is a small, family owned and operated property, so if you are expecting a Hilton mega hotel you will be disappointed. But we found the property clean and well taken care of, and the staff friendly and helpful. When on our way out for lunch I mentioned that the mini fridge in our room wasn't very cool, it was replaced with a brand new fridge before we got back to the room. That level of service is rare in most big hotels. And the location is great, very near the cathedral and historic downtown with lots of walkable restaurants, shopping and things to see.

our second stay at Casa de Colon was every bit as good as the first, six years ago. This charming small family-run hotel is so pretty and so welcoming. Staff are super helpful. Rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace, looking over to the cathedral was wonderful. All this is a fantastic location in the old town. Highly recommended
